  1. Most members on here will say 3" is too small for an XR6T. Best bet would be an xforce single 3.5" or dual 2.5" system. I got mine through Redline in Auckland.
  2. I asked Plazmaman about the 2 different BA plenums they have on the website. Hi Jason The first BA/BF inlet plenum is designed for street use, it utilises the factory runners which allows for better drivability and low end power. The second BA/BF is our new billet race inlet plenum which is designed for drag race use and cars that push over 400kws+ The billet plenum will not drive on the street as the inlet runners are a lot shorter compared to the one that uses the factory runners.
  3. My plan was to have the car re tuned at around 10psi after getting a plenum. I would rather have usable power and a smooth torque curve. I'm just unsure of the differences between the models. Would a Plazmaman (oooh shiny) line up with my existing pipework to the intercooler?
  4. Current mods are Process West 2.2 kit Xforce 4" dump into dual 2.5s Wastegate ported and flapper mod Bosch 968 injectors Walbro fuel pump.
  5. What type of power gains would I be looking at with an aftermarket plenum? What's the difference between Plazmaman, Process West and the Atomic plenum?
  6. Either really. I'm in NZ, so would have to have 1 built and shipped over. Have asked around at various transmission places over here and they all say nothing can be done to strengthen them.
  7. Loosen them off? Is that adjust the damper towards hard or soft? They're Tein street advance, new version of the super street.
  8. Had the Teins fitted earlier today. Set them at 350mm, but can't get down my driveway now. Going to have to raise it up tomorrow. My rear shocks were absolutely rooted though, bushes had collapsed at one end. Feels really good now, possibly bouncing around a bit too much though. Might need to harden the dampening up? Have Whiteline sway bars fitted front and rear as well.
  9. Got some Tein coilovers for $1500 on special. Should be fitted on Thursday, can't wait to see how it handles after that
  10. I did look at those after reading all the reviews on here and another Ford forum. The only thing that puts me off them is the price. If I was local, it wouldn't be an issue. But I'd have to pay customs/gst as well to bring them into NZ and then cert. Would end up being closer to $3000 for them
  11. Hey guys Just after some advice on suspension. I've recently fitted Whiteline sway bars front and rear and noticed a difference in handling. Now I'm looking at doing the shocks/spirings or putting coilovers in. Being in NZ, my options are BC Gold coilovers at $1500+$500 for cert Tein Coilovers at $2500+$500 for cert Blistein shocks at $1500+springs at $400or so. Any advice would be appreciated
