its so annoying. seems like it only started doing it recently.

Got a stock Mk2 T. When I take off from standstill and usually when turning under power as soon as it loses traction a little and the t/c light comes on it spits and farts and loses power. Anyone had this problem and was it fixed easy enough by Ford??

want to clean up my mk2 rims to sell them. any ideas of what the best product is to use without damaging the rims.?? hope to clean the inside dish in particular. thanks

Have read differing opinions on this. Does adding these two mods increase or decrease the amount of fuel used by an XR6T??

any suggestions of a good mechanic in Sydney to get this done at ???

I do have a K&N Filter and F6 CAI...would that add to the issue somehow???

My MK2 T has gradually been running rough and spluttering when accelerating. Fuel consumption has gradually increased by around 3L/100k. Took it to Ford for 30k service and of course they couldn't find any kind of miss or anything. As soon as I took it out there driveway it started again...typical. They said bring it back if it does it but I got the impression they they were a bunch of clowns that didn't give a crap. Is there somewhere I can go in Sydney where the mechanics are keen to fix a problem and get it running in tune again?? Any advice would be appreciated.

I have had my 04 auto turbo for 6 months and the fuel economy has been killing me.I knew it would be thirsty but I am lucky to get 350kms around town driving like my grandma. Usually around 19L/100KM.Have a K&N filter and F6 CAI...no difference.I have a great plan to reduce the fuel costs.....buy a GTI Golf !!!!! As soon as a few of those start popping up the XR is a gonner.

I have a auto standard MK2 with 22000kms that I've had for 4 mths.Do mostly peak hr driving and cannot get anything under 18L/100km.Even when I drive like an old lady trying to conserve fuel.Struggle for any more than 350km for a tank. Do you think a dyno tune by someone who knows the T would be a good idea??..or any other tips to improve the economy.Just put in a K@N filter.
