  4. Using the ICC Audi out fed into the aux in of the aftermarket hu. U could still use the factory ICC if when required. Steering wheel controls can be set up to control aftermarket hu. 2 company's make interface kits. PAC audio. And cat10. They take the wheel controls and control the aftermarket hu.

  8. jvc make a good single dvd non sliding , with ipod input, has a good layout not cheap like the xtrons interface(what asl use) alipine pro requires a unit called "orb" to control the unit , basicly it just uses the icc screen for an interface.. the orb is an control unit u mount somewhere ,(not so pretty) , the unit gots for about 700 bucks
  9. try using your spare key, maybe batt
  10. try removing the xbox from the icc and see if correct operation is resumed the plug is one one at the bottom of the ICC on the right hand side (white plug) I suspect the ICC sat nav input pin is being pulled to ground
  11. Trac light would be for illumination. Just wire them to the cig lighter and light them all the time The illumination system ford use is backwards Positive is 12 v all the tIme Earth floats Depending on brightness settings Most after market gauges use pos to vary brightness and being led polarity comes into play If its hooked to trac control. Earth will not be earth
  12. narrow afrs are ok for seeing whats happening , just not how much. IF it is the wideband kit , the gauge comes with sensor, bung and all you need. u dont need another sensor , or interface kit , just the bung welded in
  13. No probs. well done on the find !
  14. boost, tee offf the BOV oil temp will require sandwich plate for oil filter AFR , whire or grey wire of the O2 sensor , (takes about 30 secs for it to start working) so be paitent power and lights from cig lighter
  15. fit it up to the tissue box (fitting kits available) use the Aux in of the head unit to feed the ICC sound to the HU if/when required
  16. Do ir yourself. Its easy. Plenty of guides.
  17. on 0 volume the ICC mutes the audio output IC , im thinking in this case the noise is being induced further down the line ,

  23. the hiss is being picked up post ICC, try disscnnectings the rcas from the PXA to the amps and see if that stops , then from the LLC to the PXA , then the speaker inputs to the LLC to isolate the point of inducement of the hiss. the PXA-H800 if tuned correctly , shold help with the hiss, y do they have LLC's fitted with the PXA , it seems strange to do it that way? it seems to have been installed a bit strangly , im not sure if the Revese system is pre or post ICC , will look at my mates FG and investigate that.
  24. all good mate! then id be looking at the pcv letting boost pressure in. or its top end issuses. but id try the PCV first
