  1. is it the boosted version? if so did you plug the power in also? is there 12V at the plug. if its not a boosted version , touch one on the channels to ground breifly , does it make a noise/pop
  2. Don't cut the shelf ! You can but 5x7 to 6x9 adapters. Or make some up out of 12 mm mdf. There is room to fit the spacers and 6x9 under the stock shelf
  3. PAC unit reads the values of the input from the wheel control and forwards the selection. To the aftermarket radio. Can't remember the web site at the moment. Google it should find it
  4. know the feelin there. financial officer AKA wife says no more money on car till after tyres and rego any 1 got any 18" rubber to sell/trade
  5. been awhile since ive done ute trims,, but straight forward. yeh mate left and right
  6. line level convertor, tap of rear speakers , plenty of room either side. thta a good deal for fusion gear! I run all fusion gear in my car
  7. will it work. yes , its it the best. prob not. will they be running off an amp? man , its not that hard to fit the gear, there is plenty of guide/threds to help you along the way. plus I can help you out if u get stuck. plus leaves more cash for better gear. where do u live?
  8. wiring fault from the rev camera I bet , trace back and inspect the joints that the rev cam tapped into, possilbe poorly insulated joint!
  9. those option come as the kit you need to display the iphone on the Screen. there are 2 ways to achive thse type of results 1. Asl automedia's Iphone video kit (this allows you to connect video based devices to the icc, DVDs and such) 2.if your good at driving PC's you can build a carPC , this is great and has a wide possiblity of things that can be done there are threds around on both options
  10. go back to ford and tell them you want it programed for a single xzone him if you dont want the dual zone noormally when some1 goes to ford for an DZCC reprogram , they assume you have done the whole job. (there are theads about this)but a breift rundown is, change him to DZ version or at least fit the related parts. LHF door harness , LHF mirror assembley (there is a temp sensor in the mirror) and possibly the dash harness depending on what you had it in yours before. if your in NSW, we can deal , I have a a color icc with 6disc and single zone , and am getting parts to do a dual zone conversion
  11. that's why , u need a dual zone him ,
  12. its worth it belive me , I messed about with cheap convertors and wasnt happy till I got the Lc6i , if you have a convertor already your wiring is already there ! keep an eye on mobile eletronics australia , often see 2nd hand units under 100 bucks or ebay
  13. yeh mate , the level your inputing into your amp is low , that's why ya gain is maxxed out LC6i is a summing/differential high gain Pre-amp that lifts the output voltage
  14. 1.I bet your system is loosing low end audio , its its prob not as loud as the lower freqs could be. 2. LC6i has a feature called GTO (great turn on) , this will turn yours amps on and off with the ICC , currently is say your remotes are triggered by the ACC wire this has 2 situations that suck. 1.1hr keyless play would result in no audio(amps dont turn on) 2. if you turn your ICC off , your amps are still on and still draining the battery. 3. Lc6i is base level if you have no limit on cash , I recommend Rockford fosgates 3.sixty(easy to set up. comes with a mic you place in a few sports around the car and it sorts out all the soundstage to give a flat response), (new one coming out soon). for audiophiles I reccomend the audioson bit.one processor( this is tricky to set up and requires a spec am and other tools) but the result is a totally amazing transformation on the soundstage. will keep an audiophiles pants wet for long time! aftermarket h/us are good , but its up to you if you want to retain the factory look and controls (although a company called PAC , make a range of adaptors to allow steering wheel controls to operate aftermarket h/u's) it comes down to what results your looking for
  15. jb sell them for about 250 , or watch on ebay. the LC6i is the best bang for buck icc interface
  16. man that's one HIGH flow pump u got there ! opened the galleries right up!
  17. sorry assed that all up ch 1&2 = RL & RR ch 3&4 = FL & FR ch 5&6 = SL & SR Ch 5&6 are linked to 1&2
  18. yes , use plenty of cable lube,
  19. LC6i gives you 3 sets of L and R channels , you can sum some channels or stand alone . most common configuration is: Channel 1 = front left Channel 2 = front right Channel 3 = rear left Channel 4 = rear right Channel 5 = sub left Channel 6 = sub right you would input audio from the ICC as: Ch1 = FL Ch2 = FR Ch3 = RL Ch4 = RR Channel 5 and 6 will be a link to ch 3 & 4 allowing level control for the subs (good if u get the remote level control if your sub amp doesnt have one). if you have Premo sound in your car already you must disconnect the Factory sub amp in the boot. (when the amp is detected on the CANbus the ICC applys high and low pass filters to different channels. but you want full range sound on the LC6i input) no worries bout the hijack. any questions feel free to PM me hope that clears it up for you
