  8. remember to keep power and signal seperated. noise can be an issuse. 1. eath your amp well (sand back to bare metal and nut and blot) 2.make sure you LOC is earthed at the same point at your amp 3. check clean or upgrade Batt to engine strap, Batt to chassis strap 4. dont run power near signals PS, LOC should be fed from rear speakers to start off with ( lc6i does 6 channels)
  9. The reason you dont really have an answer is we were unsure of the question , now you have asked the question I will provide a detailed answer. if your replacing the sub. disconnect frauds amp to allow full range to all speakers. use a line output convertor (there are a few options depending on budjet) 1. Dead set tight ass. Perform ICC mod to get rca output. (20-30 bucks in parts) Pros Cheap Cons time consuming and risk of damage to the audio board (fine soldering required) 2. I want top sound on a budjet. Install either the audiocontrol LC6i (200ish)or apline PXE-h660(200ish also (I have one for sale)) LC6i Pros GTO feature to turn your aftermarket amp on and off with the ICC Easy to install cons. None found so far ALPINE pxe-h660 Pros Freakishly awsum sounds as this is a Sound processor Cons Setup is very time consuming , at least a day of install and tuning manual isnt very helpful but there is plenty of guides on the net how to get top results 3.I dont care about money I just want the best. audison bit.1 (1200+ install) pros SQ that will win you comps if paired with top amps and speakers cons requires a fair bit of gear to set up properly and most would need to get it done by an audio shop if the audio shop doesnt know how to install and tune it correclty it will not justify the cost so now you have RCA's to feed your aftermarket amp Most amps have a Low pass filter that will limit the audio to low freq's for the subs if its a monoblock your laughin! install power from batt. hook up sub . tune. enjoy. Hope this helps you out with what your trying to acheive. were here to answer any questions u may have
  10. disconnect the vac line from the map sensor , does it goto 0, if not check the votage on the signal wire , if you suck on the the map sensor does the voltage rise/fall. sounds like an issue of the signal voltage from the map sensor. connect the gauge directly to the batt and make sure it calibrates. does it read 0. suck on the map sesor , does it read vac then return to 0? let me know the results
