  4. I like the Winter White T's... they are a blank canvas for any exterior mods... JB is a member of this forum and he used to own a white T with 19" Lenso Speed Six wheels... and that car looked HOT... This is a pic of JB's old car... And of course Adam's (XRTWPN) car with the 20" front/22" rear combo which no doubt you have seen pics of already... White isn't a very common colour either for T's so if you did get it, it would stand out... I reckon big black wheels with a chrome lip on them would look unbelievable... something like this and black wheels are easy to keep clean too... Just my 2c... Jack

  7. Oh well... worth a try! The only modded T I've been in is Simon's ute and I don't think that is a car I should be using as a guide to what a stand alone edit goes like vs edit/inj/springs as it's got the whole lot and more... and then some more after that... Jack

  10. Mate... I can't wait... I think it's gonna rock... I think I'll leave the inj/valve springs for later, and just get the edit to start with... I think I want something that is just on the edge of crazy at the moment... And the stand alone edit I think will do this... though my offer to travel anywhere in Melbourne to ride in an edit only manual still stands... Jack

  13. I am up for a day cruise on a Sunday... Saturday even... don't really mind, as long as everyone comes along... Must have a central location and I think 2 stops... both for photo's of course... and strippers if it allows... Must involve the beach and the mountains... beaconsfield pde/beach rd/dandenong rd/chapel st (just for the wa*k factor) and maybe a bit of freeway work (without the speed cameras) to get us all back together after being seperated by traffic lights... what a sight that would be!! That would be wicked!! Evil... you seem keen on the Devonshire tea... is it the scones or the jam? only joking... wish I'd said Hi on the prom cruise, but was a little shy as I didn't know anyone other than the mate I bought along with me... Would love to meet a few from this site and put faces to names... Jack Edit- We could meet at the Elwood beach carpark... plenty big enough for a group meeting...

  16. Ok Mark... You have what I am getting... so I'll ask you a few q's... if you don't mind... Is 1st a no traction job if trying to launch it? How about 2nd... if I stand on it at 3000rpm will it break traction again? If it will then that is basically all I'm after for now, I do drive the car to work every day and don't think I could keep off the loud pedal if I had anymore... I know from others on here that I will want more but I'll get to that eventually... Does anyone here have an edited only maual car in Melbourne that is willing to let me be a passenger in their car? I'll travel to wherever you are... Jack
  17. I won't vote until you add another option to the pole... You need to add paint the bar citric (baby poo ) but add the detail in silver rather than charcoal or whatever colour it is... it's gotta match the rest of your car... Cohesive... it's gotta be cohesive... Jack
  18. Got that out of the way... You WILL beat a stock GEN3 LS1 in your T, a GEN3 with exhaust and intake will be door to door at any speed, standing start or roll on... I know from experience from my best mate who has done this to his (manual) VU SS ute...I beat him, he did exhaust and intake and we were door to door, he got edit and I now lose... badly... Edited LS1 will beat a stock T... I've beaten a kid on his L's on a CBR 250RR in my stock T... he couldn't believe I went with him and beat him... I do because I used to have a 4 stroke 250 and they aren't that fast... I can't wait till I 'go' with a decent sports bike in my T... if it matches the face on the kid with the 250 I'll be a happy camper!!! Nice Jack
  19. Hey Craig... Just a question to add to your question above... I have 20" wheels and the speedo is now out about 4-5kp/h... would this also effect the dyno readout? I (with all of my zero knowledge on the subject) would think so... or does a dyno only read ACTUAL speed vs ACTUAL rpm? With no practical knowledge of individual gearing or wheel sizes? Is this why a dyno is only a tuning tool and not an ACTUAL be all and end all debate ender? Sorry to hijack if I have but I am interested... Jack
  20. I can't edit my post above so I will add to it here... Or should I go the dump and cat... Or should I go replacement intercooler for more repeatable performance? I honestly don't think I'll ever be upgrading to the cobra inlet manifold so an upgraded cooler wouldn't become redundent over time... What do you boys think? Jack
  21. Hey Rob... Maybe paint it silver to match your wheels and the pin stripe you on your bonnet... It has to look cohesive... I remember when my best mate (Matt from the prom cruise) painted his old VL Calais (flame suit on) all one colour (gold) it looked excellent but it was too much of the same colour and needed something to break it up and we added a chrome strip all the way round the car and that was enough to break up the colour, the strip really set it off...   22. Hey boys... Due to some good circumstances I am just about to get $1000 I didn't think I was gonna get... Should I go injectors and valve springs too? I am SO paranoid that I will lunch my T5 it's not funny... the clutch isn't so much of an issue as I would have to upgrade it anyway but will the inj/springs/edit kill my gearbox? I think I need to have a chat with Simon at Nizpro and seek some guidence... Jack

  24. Um... NO NO NO you have been hard done by even more than that, you are being screwed, and by the keystone cops by the look of it... This is amongst the poorest customer service I have ever heard of or read... I can't believe what I just read... they are lucking you are even offering them options... I'd seek legal advice. You must. I can't believe the salesman was saying 'Tell me about it I haven't been able to sell the XR6 we have given you...) WTF...
