Honestly? Everything... Are you going bonnet up or keeping it shut? If up, make sure you do a good job of cleaning it up, make sure all your fluid levels are topped up too, makes it look a bit more finished... Maybe PM Mr Turbo (Rob) and ask him as he did something similar a few weeks ago for a show and won a trophy, said it was all elbow grease but well worth the effort... Paint wise, a good clean and polish, and touch up any stone chips in the front bumper... can't really think of anything else, I've never shown a car before so that is what I would do... Good Luck!! I've noticed this too... seen it been called SS Reductions... but from my personal experience it worked for me... back to back on the same dyno against a standard car... as stated above... Nice one... I think I now have a bit of a job to do this afternoon!! Cheers Pete. Jack

I have an SS Inductions in my car with a K&N, and I'm very happy with mine, at the one and only dyno day I've been to my car was dyno'd and made a best of 212.5rwkw (the other runs were 198rwkw and 207rwkw) and on the same day, same dyno only about 30 mins later another complete stocker XR6T including standared intake made 191rwkw, though I don't imagine that the SS alone makes the difference of 21rwkw but it has to amount something... After I put it on I felt the car was 'freed' up a little more, it revved a bit easier and pulled harder as well... Jack

That's right mate!! HHAHAHAHAHAH I'm so stoked, I don't wanna wait, it's killing me!! I reckon you will find that the next set of mods will come pretty quickly after that... but everyone has to start somewhere... (may we all pray for the safe return of my T5 and clutch to the parts bin!!) Good stuff mate... you can go and get yourself a K&N panel filter at any auto store for about $100.00 won't void your warranty and I have fitted a SS Inductions Cold Air Intake to mine as well and they cost about $360.00 I think from Ebay... and with one of these on you can hear the turbo whistle/blow off valve a little more and if you read my sig it added a bit of power too... well for me anyway... Then it's up to you... the mod bug will bite you... it's only a matter of time!!! I'm booked in to get mine edited next Friday and I can't wait!! Jack

Sorry this is Melbourne, but The Tyre Factory will supply and fit SL/SSL to XR6/8 for $350.00 I paid nearly $500 and got wheels the next week and they (The Tyre Factory) asked where I got my springs from and I told them and they laughed for about 10 mins before telling me I could've saved $150.00 if I'd gone there... Oh well, we live and learn... Jack

Here's the story... I'm turning right behind a Semi Trailer and I had passed the lights on my right hand side but had no view of the lights over from me because the truck was in the way, when I passed the lights on my direct right they were green but the truck was going so slowly I was still only starting my turn once in the intersection when they changed from amber to red and got flashed, there was a car on my inside (right) that was later in to the intersection than I was and a car behind me as well so maybe it wasn't me but all I know is that the camera flashed a few times... Would I have a hope of contesting it? I'm pretty annoyed now, as I consider myself (here we go...) to be a very experienced driver and safe on the roads, I drive trucks for a living doing over 100,000k's a year, so I value my licence and my points and wouldn't put either of those at risk just to make sure I get through the next sets of lights, one thing it has taught me is patience and it seems I'm still gonna get done... What do you guys think? Have I got a chance if the ticket comes in the mail? Jack
