  1. Brilliant thread... I have read it with interest, it's good to see what others make and with what mods... I love this site for exactly this reason. Jack
  2. I have what would probably be a 13 sec warrrior with edit only (T5) manual tuned by Nizpro and I reckon my car is SO MUCH FUN on the street... excellent 2nd gear slides are awesome... I'd hate to think what a 12sec manual would be like on the street... scary to say the least... With regards to reliability, I've had NO issues with reliability, none what so ever. If you want a manual 12... I'd go for the Edit, Injectors and Valve springs, I think you'll get close... gonna cost you about $3.5 from Nizpro, don't know about what other tuning shops cost but that'll get you a fair whack of fun that is for sure!! A user from here DRKXR6 has just on the tip of 300rwkw (299.2rwkw) with this combo with a T56 manual box... Jack

I hate everything about people who feel obliged to take others things... such a rubbish way to live your life... so pathetic. Hope HP-F get all their gear back, they find the scum who did it and they are back on their feet in no time... Makes me so angry... Jack
  4. Advanced Alloy Wheels Repairs 3 Nellbern Close Moorabbin 9555 1333 it will cost about $180 a rim... that is how much it cost Knox Ford when they damaged my wheels... Jack
  5. I like it but only with the black 19's, it's such a strong colour that I think it needs the black wheels as a contrast... If you're asking would I have one? In a heartbeat... Jack
  6. Well done boys!! These cars are getting very fast now... and excellent result for Laurie there to getting in to the 10's, that must be something else to drive on the road... especially with a 3500 stall Jack
  7. That is an awesome result SavageD!! I have Nizedit only on my T and it's awesome, but your result is just crazy... Don't you just love the way the line on the graph just steps away from the standard one... perfectly mirroring the way it drives on the street... with all you boys gettting these crazy numbers it just makes me want a phoon even more... if that is even possible... Gotta love it!! Congratulations mate!! Jack
  8. Sorry Dagabond but I didn't get down there today because of the rain, I decided instead to go shopping for nice new suit and shirt to wear tomorrow at the footy, I've scored some coporate tickets so wanna look my best I had a few mates who went today though and they told me that during the cruising (9am-12pm) this morning they saw 2 Skylines, 1 VH and 1 VL Calais get written off due to stupid driving in wet conditions on the track... sad for them, but you have to know your limits I suppose... no insurance either because they were on the track... hate to think how much they'll be up for... I'll get some pics tomorrow morning and I'll get heaps on Monday!! And will post them then! Jack
  9. Yeah mate... has the plates SUXBNU (Sucks Being You) I love the plates... well of course I do, I thought of them, if you knew the owner you would understand... they fit him and his car perfectly... If you see me tomorrow or on Monday come say Hello... Jack
  10. Nice... I love the 19's, they really set it off!! Just start with an air filter for it and then it's all down hill from there Jack
  11. Yeah mate that was me... I was there with my best mate, he had the VU SS ute that was next to me... he was so jealous because there was heaps of people taking photo's of my car and no one took any of his!! But his car is faster than mine... so at least I've got something to hang on him now!! Jack
  12. Nice one jet... You should have come over and said hello... I'll be heading down on Sunday morning for a bit of a cruise then off to the footy in the afternoon, but will be there all day Monday!! Jack
  13. Hey F6... Well what can I say... I love those wheels... I have the same wheels in 20's too but with only 8.5's on the rear, if I'd had the money I would have definately gotten the 9.5 rear... they look unbelievable!! Especially against the Rapid paintwork... love it, awesome. Do you now have people stopping you at the lights and stuff? I've had people wait next to my car in shopping centres till I get back to my car to talk to me about them... it's crazy what awesome wheels do to a car... I went through the scruteneering (sp?) today at Easternats down here in Melbourne and the amount of people that my car attracted was just amazing... I just can't believe it... my best mate has the no. plates SUXBNU (Sux Being You on a really nice VU SS ute) and they get heaps of attention, especially today in the same line as me at the Easternats but even he said people read his plates, but they take pictures of my car... it just blows me away... I hope you get the same reactions with your car... Nice one!!! I love it looks SO TUFF... All you need to do now is bring those huge wheels up a bit in to those guards... I have the SL/SSL King Springs in my car and it still rides beautifully even on 35 profile tyres, excellent for touring, not too hard, doesn't crash and bash on rough roads... but still holds an awesome line through a corner... Jack
  14. You can consider me part of that 98%... Excellent choice, the Phoon is Bionic look awesome... Jack

    My Eb Xr6.....

Damn that's some pretty extensive damage... at least no one was injured beyond repair... Good Luck with your recovery, hope it hasn't put you off the road for too long... Jack
  16. You love it!!! I know you do I'm like a proud father showing off my child!! Jack
  17. Hey Turb and I have an SS Inductions Cold Air Intake, I certainly noticed the difference when I put it on... some people seem to have a bad opinion of the SS kit but I have had excellent results with it... The best dyno run pre-edit for my car with the SS fitted was 212rwkw, and the baseline for my car when the edit was done was 209rwkw both very healthy results from a stock car... If you plan further mods then I would think that the CAI that geea has suggested would be an excellent starting point too... I don't have any experience with the phoon CAI but from everything I have read on here they seem to get excellent results... Don't get the intercooler unless you are prepared to get the car edited at the same time. As stated above by others the car will overboost and put itself in to limp mode which isn't good and is also a HUGE pain in the a*s... and as Rob said the factory intercooler is fine for the mods you have listed... my car is making 270rwkw with edit and SS CAI and I still have the factory intercooler... Jack
  18. I have 20's though on a sedan... they look awesome... but 19's give you a few options with regard to wheel width and (legal) tyre size... I have 20 x 8.5 G-Max 182's in Black and love them but legal tyre options are very limited... 19's are another story... heaps of legal options. Here -> is a pic of my car (hey flukey... another pic of my car on this site lol) this is what 20's look like on a XR6T... Jack
  19. Brilliant to read that... I'm still the same with my edit tune... and I too cannot even begin to imagine what the really high powered cars are like to drive if mine is this much fun... You guys with 300+ are crazy!! Jack
  20. Awesome result for you there Mercury!! I too have a Nizedit, and I'm loving it!! It really shows up the stock brakes... they are pathetic... enjoy your new found power!! Jack
  21. Nice... Good luck with the new mods!! Jack
  22. Awesome! Without the spoiler looks excellent! Good work mate... looks tuff!! Jack
  23. 20" wheels with 225/35/20 tyres... And I believe Nizpro do a change over upgraded CV... probably best to ask bcl as I imagine he has been through a few too... but only guessing. Jack
  24. XR6T8_U. T5 Manual sedan Completely standard at the time lowered with with King Springs Standard bump stops still in place Heathcote Raceway (far lane... aka DEATH VALLEY) At the burnout... I would put it down to over revving in the burnout but I don't know... I've done 1 CV this way. Jack
  25. Yes and no... the GST that is collected on fuel is returned back to the states and the fuel excise that equates to about 1/3 of our petrol price in no longer indexed against inflation (meaning it doesn't go up automatically) which is good... that happened a couple of years ago... the problem with higher petrol prices is that it has a huge effect on every household budget, regardless of whether you are single/married/kids or whatever... the money for fuel has to come from somewhere and it usually means it has to come from other areas of the houehold... Jack
