  1. Did they think it was weird that you were taking photo's of them? Did you then say "It's OK, I'm from Australia..." Seriously though, that would've been awesome, nothing else on the road looks like a Viper... the trip must have been wicked too... Anymore photo's? Does every other SUV over there have 22's on it or is it just me and my warped Pimp my Ride fantasy... Jack
  2. I believe it is... $500 from Autobarn... Jack
  3. That's a shame mate... next time! That is so hilarious SavageD... I was exactly the same after Simon took me for a run in his ute (400+rwkw)... I'd never been in a modded XR6T so he felt he needed to literally take my breath away... I forgot to breathe for about 2 mintues... complete madness. That sold me straight away... I loved the fact that I couldn't stop shaking. Jack
  4. Come down on Saturday Pete if you are free to the dyno day and have a look at what's what... I'm sure there will be a couple there... Jack
  5. Nice... that is my next mod... Who did the fitment of the guages for you? How much? Or are you a smarty pants and did it all yourself? I wish I was a smarty pants Jack
  6. Not massively keen on a track day as my factory brakes won't hold up... But a cruise to Castlemaine/Daylesford I'd do... Jack
  7. As long as the quality is there to back up the more expensive price... I voted yes on this proviso... Jack
  8. Cheers mate... But it's not my house... it belongs to my best mate and his house mate... my tyres are too expensive to do crazy stuff like that in the driveway... Jack
  9. Hey mate... I have them, and have had them for about 5 or 6 months... They are G-Max 182's, 20 x 8.5" all round... they don't scrub, never have, no guard mods to fit them and the car is lowered on King Springs SL/SSL... Here is a pic... hey flukey more pics of my car on here If I had my time again I would buy the same wheels but in 19's with an 8.5" front and 9.5" rear... a bit more practical... And with 20's your speedo will be about 5kph out... Jack
  10. Nice video Gary... is certainly not dial up friendly, I have broadband and it took me 15 mins... but well worth it and I've added it to all the other photo's you boys have posted to my Cruise folder on my computer... Gary... get in touch with Robin (xlnt6) as he has a video too that he doesn't know how to post up and maybe you could add it to that brilliant thingy you created to add your video... Jack
  11. Are you glad you came flukey? Hope so I have 1/4 tank left, and had done about 100k's before I met up with you guys at Bunnings Scoresby... not too bad in my opinion... With regard to the stone chips, I had my front bumper repainted in January and it is already so bad again it could do with another repaint... Jack
  12. Anyone with pics post them up as I forgot to take my camera... Cheers! Jack
  13. Just got home... Brilliantly done boys, had a ball!! Pity about the weather not coming to the party though... Well done to Rob and Gary for organising such an excellent day!! When and where is the next one? Jack
  14. Should still be good, just means we have to look after each other out there if it gets wet... and take it easy. Piece of cake I hope we can get AW or Triple M out there as the footy is on at 2.10pm and I don't wanna miss the pies game... You still not coming flukey? Jack
  15. No... not off road tyres... 22's... yep, you need to get 22's for it Jack
  16. Nice one!!! They look awesome with the black 19's... Jack
  17. Ahhh... that is what I'm talking about... '161' means one thing, and I gone means another, but they mean something all together different to you... Good work Jack
  18. At a guess... One Six One... 161 or... I Gone... if not, what do they mean? Jack
  19. A Monaro? Perish the thought... and I was a Expensive Daewoo Fan... They are nice, but... my boss drives one, and hates the fact that everytime we line up at the lights his car gets embarassed... and that the boys at work take pics of my car, and ask him why he got the VZ bonnet on his... I love calling him a tranny... Jack
  20. Ah... wasn't sure where you were coming from... I am usually pretty sure where you are coming from (mostly for a laugh), but just took this one the wrong way... Sorry Shaz... My bad... Jackl Do you have QLD personalised plates on your car?
  21. What are you talking about? Don't understand at all... Shaz... as a driver (for a living) I see HEAPS of personalised plates on heaps of different cars and am just interested in your motivation for getting them... does that make sense to you? Jack
  22. Congrats Dan for getting 2 million plus hits, This is a reason why you don't bet on anything... anywhere, anytime... but you will atleast have something to talk to your mates about when you have long broken up with your G/'F... Jack
  23. I obviously have the vic reg XR6T8U, I got these because I thought these were the best ever plates in my opinion to go on an XR, that is until I joined this site and found that bcl's car had the same plates first (though in NSW reg) and is basically THE MOST modified XR in the country, sorry again bcl if it looks like I'm copying you, I'm not, completely unintended... Anyway, back on topic... do you have personlised plates? What are they? Do any of your mates have personlised plates on their cars? I don't mind if they aren't Fords... doesn't matter... My best mates cars have TUFANU (Tuffer Than You), SUXBNU (Sucks Being You) and BGSLIM (Big Slim... because he's a really big dude and he's big and not slim so they suit him down to the ground)... another mate I have who has a hot car has PSI-ETR (you might have seen it at Easternats...) on a 650hp HJ Monaro on Boyd 20's with a 250 shot of gas, without the gas it runs low 11's (5500 stall) with the gas it runs low 10's... I love trying to work out what personlised plates mean... so what do you have? What have your mates got? What are the best you have seen and why? Jack
  24. Nice... my last car was a HSV Senator... and my XR6T sh*t's all over it with regard to quality of finish and performance... he won't be disappointed. Jack
