Yesterday I saw a VT exec with VY HSV kit (complete with fibreglass ripples), 17's on the front, chasers on the back and P Plates with MADATU... I think he should be mad at himself... it's not my fault he can't afford back tyres... Jack

I would've thought that a crack in the outer rim against the tyre would be caused by a pothole but not a crack through one of the spokes... that looks to be a casting imperfection when the wheel was made... Can't believe Ford said That is such a rubbish answer... What are they going to do about it? Jack

Hey Deano... In your CAPA flash box you should have a 95RON tune, which won't be as aggresive a tune as the 98RON tune, maybe it would be a good idea to load that tune in until you can get it to them... Are you a member of the Nizpro Forum? If not, then maybe it's also worth joining there and posting the problem asking for their advice directly... Good luck with it mate! Jack

They have in Victoria... I went past them doing in it on the Ferntree Gully Rd overpass to the Monash (pointing at the inbound lanes) the other day... Isn't it cheating if they use 2 different sets of people to catch you? I think so... Jack

Good stuff Brian... It's starting to come together now!!! Mine is going in for a the injectors/valve springs and I'm picking up a T56 for it on Saturday... I'm not too far behind you now... NOT! Jack -
I dropped my car off at Ford and they gave me a loan car because they did the damage to the rim... but it took 3 days... whether this is the norm I don't know... what I do know is that Ford payed $180.00 for the rim repair. They are only open Monday to Friday, but they open very early every morning (read:5AM)... Give them a call they were very helpful when I had to get in contact with them... Jack

Advanced Alloy Wheel Repairs 3 Nellburn Rd Moorabbin 9555 1333 They repaird my 20" wheel when Ford damaged it during a warranty claim and it came up beautiful, you couldn't even tell it had been gutter scraped the whole way round... Jack

Not too sure mate... but it just goes to show how efficient the factory exhaust is on these cars... you won't find any other mass produced turbo car capable of making that kind of power with the FULL factory exhaust still in place... Jack

Just on the exhaust side of things... A Nizpro customer who has a BA Typhoon made 418rwkw last Saturday with a complete FACTORY exhaust, stock cat and dump pipe... He has Nizpro Stage 2 fitted... Jack

I believe the BA/BF needs a specific tool, that isn't a spring compressor, to be able to pull out the springs... I will stand corrected though... But when I had mine done, I thought I'd fit them myself and I rang Pedders and they advised strongly against it even though I had a spring compressor I still didn't have the correct tools to do the job... Maybe Pedders lied to me... it wouldn't suprise me... Jack
