Good point SpaceAce... it is funny to see how quiet the people are now who were questioning Harry all that time ago about him wanting to play for his country, and personally I didn't agree with approaching the ref after the game the way he did, but I will admit I was standing up and telling him through the TV to give it to him!! Well Done Harry!!! There is nothing wrong with having passion for your team and country! Jack
  3. Fair enough... it's probably hard to explain in written format without going in to massive detail... but I do understand 'tank slapper'... Such a shame mate, at least you are ok, and hopefully no-one was hurt, the car can always be repaired... Glad to see your insurance company come to the party as well... have never heard a bad word about AAMI... if only they'd insure me too... not until I'm over 30yo, only 18 months to go... Jack
  4. *edit* copy of previously edited post removed So what happened Buf? Were you going in a straight line, or cornering? We have very similar power levels and both are driving manuals... so similar cars... Jack
  5. That's no good mate... well done for admitting it was your fault, takes a real person to admit that!! What happened? The reason why I ask is because I have found my car very predictable when near the (my) limit, and am looking to see what happened to you... so I can be aware of it myself... Hope it gets fixed very soon and is back better than ever!!! Jack

Too true Kaine... every 50/50 went the way of Brazil. I know they are the best team in world or whatever but a 3 to 1 foul count surely cannot be right. We are a fair team who play the game hard... Anyway, BRING ON CROATIA!!! 5AM Friday morning... I'm there. Jack

    Cv's

Nizpro has a fair bit do with aftermarket CV's for a little while, but now it seems that XtremeF6 is taking up the slack... Send him a PM or have a look at his sponsors sub-forum on here under the modifications area, I believe they are a couple of weeks off still... If you are driving a manual then be worried, if you are driving an auto then it seems only geea is worried about breaking CV's... Jack
  8. Good work Dags... Any more video's? Jack
  9. Damn Jimmy, have you spoken to your insurance company about it yet? That would be my first move... you should have a person from your insurance company that is handling or had been handling your claim... speak to them, and convey your disappointment with the job that has been performed on your car and ask them what they are going to do about it... I feel for you mate, must be just so frustrating... Good luck with it... Jack
  10. Get the Nizpro Valve Springs and Injectors with a custom tune... you just won't look back, I know I haven't It's bloody awesome!! Jack
  11. Spend the money on a custom tuned edit... you won't regret it. Jack
  12. Yeah... I can see your point with regard to ease of travel especially in to the city... but you don't live that far from the city do you? Compared to me that is, being over 30k's out... Do the rider training days and see if you like it, and make your decision then. After owning a bike (and then selling it), personally I know exactly what I would do... Jack
  13. True... but the bike will cost you that too... and it's another lot of insurance and registration on top. Ask gogo or xlnt6 if it's worth 10k... and you'll see off most bikes on the street. And I have found bike riders are more impressed with my car than I am with their bike when I'm out driving... especially when you go with them on a roll on... Jack
  14. I tend to agree here with ZAP... and with the money spent on a bike you could get your engine done and then you can go a race bikes in your car... and beat them Jack
  15. Make sure you do a rider training course that also includes getting your licence... I didn't do one, and was just stupid on the thing on the road... that's why I ended up selling it, a couple of very close calls and that was enough for me. Jack
  16. You will be disappointed if you buy a 4 stroke 250cc bike... And the 2 stroke takes some getting used to. But will be the most rewarding to ride... I had a ZX2R Kawasaki years ago and after a couple of weeks it was boring... especially when my mates were riding around worked RGV's... Get no. 3 or similar... the choice is an easy one... your car is faster than the 4 stroke 250's... even a stock XR6T is faster than them... Have you ridden before Pete? Jack
  17. I know... but my idea would be funnier... Jack
  18. That belongs to the bus driver from The Simpsons... Jack
  19. You should get I8DEEK... That would be funny what colour plate are you thinking of getting flukey? Jack

    World Cup 2006

Too right NOS... I think we will take heaps more out of the game than Brazil will... I think at times we rushed when we didn't have to, simply because of implied pressure, pressure we thought we were under but weren't... Though we went down 2-0 our defence was superb, we didn't give many chances and marked very tightly but very fairly, which is something we have struggled with somewhat in the past... I'm sure those that watched the game heard the Brazilian fans boo their team when they had no option but to go backwards and reset... We had some excellent chances to score too but that is just how this game works, if you don't take the quality chances when they are there then you will most probably lose... A terrific result for us, not so much for the scoreline but the postives that we will take from the game!! Jack

Nice work Cro... I'm gonna head to bed early and get up at 2am. Then back to sleep for an hour and off to the doctor to see whether I'm allowed to go back to work (been off on WorkCover for 5 weeks)... Jack
