  1. It sounds like you are modding a N/A 4 cyl... Jack
  2. Mr Muffler on Burwood Highway... Nice bloke in there too... very easy to deal with! They also fitted the cat on my car too... Jack
  3. Very nice car... well turned out too!! Jack
  4. You should hit 300... but different cars react differently to the same mods for some reason... Can I have another guess? I'll also take 315rwkw same as me!! That would be an awesome result!! Jack
  5. Nice... I'll look in to it I think... I have a home brew shop near my house, might go and investigate More beer is never a bad thing... and I need a hobby anyway Jack
  6. Stock valve springs? I'll go for 300rwkw on the dot... Jack
  7. As far as my advice goes from the people who fitted mine, no you don't... And I haven't had any adverse effects from not having a wheel alignment... Jack
  8. I'll second that... Is it hard to home brew? It sounds like fun... and god knows, I love my beer!! Jack
  9. Indeed... you have to make what you do well... and the yanks make good muscle cars, they went right away from making them for nearly 20 years and you are now seeing the results of that... they all nearly went out of business. Jack
  10. I just drive it off boost... and with the traction control on... anything over 2500rpm in 1st through 5th gets the traction control cutting in... Jack
  11. 1100kms round trip??? Where abouts are you? I bet the trip home was bloody good fun Good result too... enjoy your new found power!! Jack
  12. That's alright then... I thought you got in the 20's for it after the post about what you paid... but that must have been for the T... Just PM one of the Moderators and with what you want your new username to be and they can change it... Try XR6Tute, he can do it for you... Jack
  13. cv8z... get the Kings Springs and the swaybar and you won't look back... And you'll have to change your username now too... You didn't trade in your CV8Z for under 30k did you? Jack
  14. Get in to it Jimmy... Just be careful to pick your moment... I beat a motorbike twice... in a row, the other week... he had me from the standing start, but through 2nd (wheelspinning but powering on the whole way) I was reeling him in, and I hit 3rd and just went around him... he couldn't believe it, shaking his head, asking what on earth have you done to that? Then he wanted a roll on run from 60kph... me in 2nd... No problem... traction for me then was so much of an issue... I reckon I put an easy 10+ car lengths on him from a roll on from 60kph... to the top of 3rd... He was riding a TRX850 half faring sports tourer... obviously not an out and out sports bike... but I don't care. I beat a motorbike in my car... TWICE... Nice... Jack

    Drif6 Stacks!

Nice... and thanks for username and password too... As a drifter Luff looks like he makes a great racecar driver... Jack
  16. I was able to get mine cheaply through a mate who works in spare parts... I hadn't really thought of putting the rear bar on... just wanted to see what the front one did first... But the difference is huge and so that's why I asked in the thread that I started (which can be found here) on the whiteline swaybars if anyone had fitted the rear bar as well and what the benefit of it would be... Jack
  17. Nice... congratulations on the 11!! Job well done... Jack
  18. Not my driveway... it's one of my mates houses... and yep they have certainly been having some 'fun' in their driveway. Slowly as time goes by they are fading away... Jack
  19. I have Kings SL/SSL in my T... and even with 20" wheels they don't foul the guards... So with 18's you won't have a problem. Here is an old pic of my car with 17's on it and the Kings Springs... -> And here is what it looks like with the same springs but on 20's -> If you have the money to do it... get the Whiteline 27mm front swaybar as well... it makes a huge difference compared to the stock car... the car feels smaller, and turns in and holds the line heaps better... should cost around $140.00 for swaybar and only takes 20mins to fit... Jack
  20. The factory cat is cr@p... but the factory exhaust system is very good... Jack
  21. I replaced the stock cat with a 3.5" Metal Cat from a Site Sponsor (Pro Speed Racing) cost for the cat was $290 and it cost me $150 to fit... though I'm told since I had mine done that it could be fitted cheaper... but that is always the way (murpy's law) Jack
  22. Keep the stock system and just change out the stock cat... That is what I have done... and it has a bit of note at idle now, and sounds alright when giving it the curry... And it's a performance mod not like the swapping out of the centre muffler Jack
