  1. Good news... please pass on my best wishes! Jack
  2. True... but that doesn't make it any less funny Jack
  3. I have just booked in with Nizpro for an upgraded actuator (12psi) and all the business that goes with it (ported wastegate etc...), it's booked in for next Thursday, I'll report back with the results... I'm also getting the fuel pump upgraded at the same time... Jack
  4. Gold Space Ace... absolute GOLD!!! Jack
  5. Is this what they were alluding to on the footy show last night? If so then supposedly it's been investigated and proved to be incorrect... But then again it is footy... and who knows... because as it seems, anything goes... Jack
  6. Yes you should... I have Nizpro Injectors, Valve Springs and Edit and when I added a 3.5" metal cat and the typhoon intercooler I was in need of re-tune... Upper in the rev range it had a slight rattle... after the re-tune all fixed Jack Edit-I'm with Bugster here too... it is a $10,000 on the spot fine if you are found to be running a gutted cat... no if's or but's...
  7. I use it... on the recommendation of Simon from Nizpro. You need your car tuned for the fuel though to get the extra benefit of it... in my experience it provides better a better idle as well... I'm passing this on from Simon to me and now to you... it allows for about an extra 3 degrees of timing to be put in over 98RON fuel and in the end will give about 10rwkw at the top of the rev range... Jack
  8. Nice... Should be interesting!! Hopefully it's a Turbo 6 rather than a V8 as that is already covered with the GT/GT-P. Jack
  9. Welcome mate! Very familiar car around these parts... how have you found it since you bought it? Jack
  10. If that's the case then I'd give Simon a ring tomorrow and speak to him about it and see what he thinks... or you could post the question on the Nizpro Forum and see if you can get an answer out of him tonight if you can't wait until tomorrow... Either way it sounds like you need to speak to him and tell him what is happening and give him a chance to rectify it, if there is something wrong... Jack
  11. I too headed down yesterday as I was going past to see where this was up to... crazy, I just couldn't believe he had cut his car in to 2 pieces... Yep... that's it... hit the nail right on the head!! Jack
  12. Have you spoken to Simon about the brakes that he uses through the shop... they are called CSC or something like that... I'm looking at getting those towards the end of the year... around $2500 an end fitted. They seem like really good value. He has used them on quite a few T's that have come through his shop... and on his ute and on his wife's territory. Jack Edit-How did the track day go? I couldn't make it as I'm not allowed to drive at the minute because I've injured my foot... how many other cars made it?
  13. Here are some Ford Falcon specials offered by Tempe Tyres... And here are some 18" package deals from the same place... And another one, Wheel King, they are located in Melbourne but do ship interstate... Jack
  14. Has the car now got a single 2.5" exhaust on it? Or is it twin 2.5"? Jack
  15. You've done the right thing about seeing the people you bought your car from, how far out of factory warranty is it? Or does it still have a tiny bit left? Another thing to remember is that the T5 equipped cars have a 3.46 final drive ratio in the diff, whereas the the T56 (BA Mk2) have 3.73's so by fitting a T56 to your car you will lengthen the effective gearing in your car, along with 1st and 2nd gear being about 12% taller than the same ratio's in the T5... Just something else to think about... Jack
  16. Get them!! They look HOT!!! Jack
  17. Those kind of posts is what I was after... cheers Buf and Tab... I drive trucks for a living, and I had an accident about a year ago that ended up being the other drivers fault, but he was insured with AAMI and they chased my work (TNT Express) like a rabid greyhound until the police decided who was at fault, thankfully not me... And that kind of cemeted with me just how far they would go to prove their own case with regard to an accident, and not only that but my folks had an accident in their car that wasn't their fault either (they are insured with AAMI) and AAMI were absolutely brilliant from a customers stand point with their conduct and control or the claim... Wow.... He is completely out of control... It's funny, but really disturbing at the same time. Jack
  19. SUCCESS I have just finished with them on the phone again... and the guy I got today was far more helpful, I have just switched my car insurance over to AAMI from Just Car, all my modifications are listed including the T56... Yeah Tab, I am the only driver listed on the policy, I don't have a missus or anything so no-one else really drives my car except me... Thanks for your help with this guys, you have basically saved me nearly $800 a year on my car insurance... Tab, Adam and Benjam whilst on the phone before I used all of your circumstances to assist my case for insurance... I also asked about agreed value as it really is a very nice car and the guy told me to head down with my car to one of the customer service centre's and they will assist me with that... so once I'm on my feet again and driving (should be 2 weeks) I'll do that!! A HUGE THANK YOU to you boys!!! Cheers Jack
  20. I am currently at the online quote page again and they have once again offered me insurance with the following 'endorsments'... Endorsements You cannot claim if the driver of the car you currently have insured is under 25 years of age. This restriction does not apply when the car is driven by members of the motor trade for repair or servicing.
  21. Cheers for that Tab but if I provide them with a quote number with someone else's details they won't give me any information on it because of the privacy laws... It's really is frustrating, as it seems they have insured a few of you guys in similar circumstances to me... but won't insure me... I'm going to go and do another online quote with them to see if there is any fine print that I'm missing out on here... Jack
  22. Nice one Homerj... Look forward to seeing it in the flesh... Jack
  23. Savage... Even if you don't do any of the mods listed above, get the Whiteline 27mm front swaybar, for under $200 fitted it is the best bang for your buck mod you can do... I have one... and it made a huge difference to turn in and control through a corner. Coupled with decent shocks I reckon the difference would be amazing... Jack
