Really good thanks Scotty, though it's much harder to take off the weight than put it on but I am feeling heaps better within myself since I've been going... it's now just a matter of trying to get there around my work... I'm here... not very frequently though now, as I am indeed back to work, so I'm back on the 7.30am-7.30pm Monday to Friday hours... with that too I'm also going to the gym now too so some nights I don't walk in the door till after 8.30pm and by that stage all I want to do is eat my dinner and go to bed... R.I.P Peter Brock I met you once as a child, you were nothing but friendly, engaging and inspiring to me, I then met you as a man, and you were exactly as my memory served me. Yeah I've had something similar, I don't tend to run people on the street, it's not the place for it... but I was once cruising along (Princes Hwy) with an unmarked police car near me (on my best behaviour) and we passed a side street with a nice Silvia in it waiting to get out, he got out then proceeded to floor it to catch up... then sat next to me, with the police on the otherside of me, we are doing 80kph and he gives it a bit of a stick to see if I'm interested, I open my passenger window to try and tell him that the police are on the otherside of us... but unfortunately I didn't get the chance and he gave his car a full bootful and headed off down the road... and within a couple of seconds the police car drops a gear next to me and they are out after him... Stupid... I just cruised past them both as the police were pulling him over... it goes to show I suppose that you never know who else is on the road with you! Jack

Mine is flaking on the top of the crossover manifold (though not too bad...), haven't as yet had a chance to look on the inside of it thoug... my car has now done 55,000k's in nealry 4 years, fairly low k's for a car of this type I'd be fairly unimpressed if my car had this problem after 4 years of basically fault free motoring. Carlos... You want your car to go harder and sound better? Get an edit and be done with it, currently I bet you think it sounds like a vacumn cleaner when under load... after an edit and an up in boost you will find that it sounds completely different and more importantly... goes SO much harder... remember it's not a VL turbo and as such it won't make the ssshhh... tut tut tut like the VL's do. I for one wouldn't be messing around with the stuff that you are, Ford put it there on a stock engine for a reason, the risk vs reward is very poor... meaning you will probably blow something up, while your car is also actually slower... For starters... good topic! I'm not in to racing my car, I enjoy watching other people race their's though... when people ask me how fast it is or whether I've been to the drags I tell them that the only time I've been to race it I broke a CV... I usually then get asked what time 'should' it do, and that is when it is open to conjecture... F6 UTE you have a similar set up to me on your car, being actuator mod, cat, F6 intercooler with injectors and edit, I also have valve springs... but does that make mine an 11 sec car because your car ran an 11sec pass? No it doesn't. It doesn't even make it a 12sec or 13sec car etc... All it makes my car is a quick street car... that's never run a time at the drags. Jack
