I think you are right. the money involved is not a huge amount for peace of mind. Looks like a bigger pump.

Hey Ugy, I found that as the mods progressed and gained power, the more fuel the car needed. At 280rwkw's, it needed at least 1/2 a tank. At 300rwkw's about 2/3 At 320rwkw's it had to have more than 3/4 or else it would get the surge you mention at 3/4 track. No issues now with the surge tank and 800hp pump. ← I have 303 at the wheels so the fuel might not have been an issue. Just wondering if it could be the plugs. Bloody annoying when the guys in the other lane were from the red brigade

Hi guys, been having a problem with the T missing and surging down the strip.It happens about 2 thirds down and does it every time.I have had the valve springs done so that wont be the problem. I thought it might be the fuel pump (which it sounds like) but every one I suggest it to reckons it wouldnt be. I have had it on the dyno to try and find out but nothing shows up. Would be grateful if somebody can help out. Thanks.

Mine creaks and the problem is where you plug the seat belt in rubbing on the seat. My seats are leather so if you have leather seats that could be the problem. Bill

Some guys are running these tyres on 17X8 rims and was wondering if you could run these tyres on 17x7.5

Hi wondering if someone can help me out. My knowledge of tyres and sizes is very limited and was wondering if 17 inch M/T street radials would fit a 17x7.5 wheel. I dont want to go and buy a second hand set of wheels to find out they are to small. Thanks in advance.... Bill

I doubt this very much - torque is falling away at that point, and if it does so quickly enough, then power will drop. Curve looks fine to me - but expectations will depend on what other mods you have! Maintaining high torque at high rpm is very hard particularly with the stock induction plumbing, and to a lesser extent the stock exhaust (well cat anyway), as losses are much higher with the higher flow rates. Based on the amount of boost, I would hope valve springs have been done. If you post up the rest of your mods, I am sure we can provide some more constructive comment. What about putting the name of the dealership up so everyone knows to stay away from the pr..Ks or at least make sure you go over the car and check everything and I mean everything.sounds like they dont give a rats ass even when you complain

Maybe if they find some way of putting a sidewall on them they wont look so bad. At the mo they dont appeal to me.
