Heatsoak. As my general rule of thumb goes, you first run will be the quickest, and have the best terminal speed. I have gone against this once, when I was learning how to drive the ute at the strip, bad launches and wheelspin aside of course.. . Thanks for that. I was trying to work out my rear wheel kw. At the moment I am doing a 2.400 60' and 114mph (without stalling it up) so I would expect a little bit more mph at the other end if I was to stall it up.

When I gutted mine I went from 285rwkw to 320rwkw I kid you not. But in saying I would like to change it to a hi flow cat if I could get the same increase in power.Also gutting the cat makes it quite a bit noisier.

Not trying to rain on anybodys parade. Wondering what would happen with your insurance company if you were shunted up the ass and you caught fire.It is a great setup and if the price was right I would buy one but I would check with the insurance co first for peace of mind.

Dont look like the airbags went off either. I would have thought even without a direct headon it was still a bad angle and at least the front bags should have gone off.

I have done 15,000ks The more times I went down the track the better the car ran and the better times I got,which seems strange.

Thanks Ian, yeah .89 of a mil... LOL. I have had the springs done.Just that the last time I took it down the 1/4 on one run it was missing all the way down the run,not all the time just intermittenly and I thought the plug gap could be an issue. Bill

SORRY.....I know this topic has been done to death a few times. I have surfed the site and checked the threads but am still none the wiser on what would be the best regap for my plugs. At the moment I have 14psi and have regapped the plugs to 89. I have two questions. 1... What is the symptom of to bigger gap 2... What would be the best gap for 14psi Thanks

I had trouble with mine once they start turning they are normally stuffed. What I did was get a drill bit the same size and drill them out and refit new ones.

Put mine on front and rear the handling is so much better.Been around some tight corners and the rear seems to be ok. Find the car seems to be a lot stiffer.No dissapointment here. So easy to put on your self.One thing I did notice is my passenger side bar hanger (I think that's what you call them) was slightly bent and they look pretty flimsy to me. Wondering if you can get stronger ones.

Yea silver on black would look good. Didn't want to put white stripes on and thought wider stripes would look a bit overdone.
