  1. yeah its auto and either way with manual shift or auto no real difference up high graph is up thoughts

I realise that but is it normal to drop 5 pound a few pound I can understand but 5 major loos of power im thinking of doing the flapper mod with accuator and taking to another tuner as wasn't really happy with overall service also is it normal for the car to idle rough on cold start for the first 30seconds or so
  3. I was just told that all turbos react different then was told instead of doing flapper mod was better of with a different turbo one that they can supply
  4. hi all my fg ute just made 301kw on 15pound but I was expecting a little more was told that its not holding boost and droping down to 10 pound bit disappointing after doing a fair few mods and not really maxing out the turbos potential mods are pw stage 1 cooler with piping and muffler delete pw surge tank pw fuel rail with 1000cc id injectors turbosmart fuel reg venom cat the car does feel faster down low to early mid range but up high not much better than when it was stock should I do the flapper mod and run a 12psi accuator what are your thoughts guys
  5. It come from the top water housing when I removed the orginal bolt to replace with the hex one as pictured I shined a touch can't see any water and also used a vac to suck up to make sure not much went if just a spray for a second or so

I have just dummy fitted the PW fuel rail and as it states in the instructions to change orginal bolt with hex bolt provided when I unbolted the orginal bolt I had a bit of coolant enter one of the injector ports will this be ok or should I undo the runner and inspect propely can any damage be caused when car is started at tuner cheers

Just fitted the earls oil feed line very surprised on how clean the stock filter was also found by cutting a 24mm ring spanner in half made the job very easy next job now is fitting surge tank, rail, injectors, and reg, didn't need to go the rail but thought it would give it a better look and plumbed up with braided line and speed flow fittings

Time has come for the first mods to my fg ute I'm aiming for 300rwkw mods I will be doing are Stage 1 PW stepped intercooler PW street air intake Bosch 1000cc injectors 4 inch dump pipe and cat Will my fuel pump be good for that power, I thought I'd go with bigger injectors than needed incase I want more power later on, do I need any other mods to gain that power, will be doing mods myself will the car be drivable to the tuner, any one can recomend a good tuner in Wollongong any advise on the above would be great
  10. Hi all new here just bought fg xr6t ute and love it to be honest always have been a Expensive Daewoo person owned vx vz ve SS but the fg does it for me impressive power for a stock car now to my question is 17k for a 2008 fg xr6t 90000km in very good cond a fair buy
