  1. None are a direct fit, id buy them from herrods will come complete with everything to fit and they will be genuine
  2. Yes run the actuator if you are running dump or full system boost can then be controlled so when it hits boost it will hold it and not drop I'd go a full system but like said your exhaust and venom cat will do the job
  3. The f6 cooler will suffer heat soak but if you not racing and just give it a squirt of the lights here and there like you said it will be fine the negative with the standard actuator is when the car hits boost say 15pound it will bleed back and lose boost and therefore your top end won't be strong not better than stock but not much
  4. Both injectors will do the job f6 will fit straight in as for your cooler it will get you to the 300mark the race intake is unnecessary for your goal I'd spend the money on a surge tank
  5. Standard dump f6 cooler and injectors he wants to use will get him there,no use spending money on id1000 when his goal is about 300 what my intension was if he wants to run the turbosmart actuator he should do those mods to help get to 300 my car had Process west cooler & piping Process west surge Id1000 injectors Venom cat standard exhaust no dump no flapper mod tuned by a tuner on here and managed 301rwk on 14pound and bled back to 10pound was told with full exhaust system flapper mod and a actuator would of made 20 or so more
  6. Without a dump pipe and proper exhaust system waste of time running turbosmart accuator also recommend you to the flapper mod not saying it won't make 300 without those mods but will help get it there and hold boost and not get bleed back
  7. This is my set up process west surge with 460 single, fuel rail, Id 1000 injectors, turbo smart reg, walbro intank can get part number, more than enough fuel
  8. Hi all firstly thanks to all for their input to my questions appreciate it. Ok didn't quite get the 400kw I was hoping for car made 390 on 18pound with bp 98 very happy with the result car turns the wheels in 1,2,3,4th with ease boost comes on hard will be going back for a e85 tune but first doing flex plate, tail shaft some ETtyres and see how she pulls down the 1/4
  9. Hi all Sorry if this had been brought up before but I couldn't wind anything on it I have just fitted a precision turbo to my fg just wondering if I need to prime oil to it before starting and if so how would be the way to do it thanks
  10. Yeh I did change accuator just to make sure there will be no problem rather stick with something that I know works just peace mind
  11. Nearly there now just fitted the turbo also purchased a herrods intake few more finishing touches and off to Spiro next week
  12. Thanks Kosij also wondering if I should use the same gaskets manifold to head they look ok but thinking won't hurt to get new ones opinions
  13. EC = eastern creek Spiro is fitting his valve springs ZF will also be tuned no access to eflex will be tuned on 98 will be drilling hole in air box thanks to dan 10secon for his detailed advice, to those that have removed there turbo thought it was weirded how there is no gasket where the turbo bolts to the manifold is that the case
  14. Thanks to all for the input spoke to Spiro and he really rates these turbos also booked a tune in 2weeks can't wait Precision has arrived Xforce 4inch dump 3.5 system fitted Turbo removed flapper mod Monday and then I will be fitting precision some tyres and off to EC to see how she pulls
  15. I use nulon 10/40 full synthetic engine oil on my fg I believe from what I've been told very close to royal purple well priced to about $60 for 6ltr
  16. So valve springs full exhaust and better air flow are a must what about fuel is the standard intank pump good enough and will I have to add a second pump to the surge tank ????
  17. Good point is the in tank pump good enough to support that to the surge and will I need to add another pump in the surge
  18. Hi all After getting my fg tuned about a month or so ago and not being happy with 300rwk after some thought have decided 400 is now my aim I have just ordered a precision 6235 turbo to add to the list of mods I have Pw cooler and piping Pw surge tank Pw fuel rail Pw muffler delete 1000cc I'd injectors Turbosmart fuel reg Venom cat My question is if I bolt the precision turbo and add a 4inch dump pipe with the standard exhaust and air intake will this number be possible thought about a full system but thought I'll spend it else where like brakes, valve springs Thanks
  19. Hi all Was driving my fg ute today just cruising in normal drive mode when suddenly decided to put the foot down at pretty much the same time the auto was going to change to next gear then heard like a loud clunk noise like somthing locked followed by chirp just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this
  20. The tuner advised me to buy the id1000 and recommend herrods so I did
  21. Apart from rough idle can this case other issues
  22. Mine idles rough for about a minute as I said above tuner said its normal I didn't think it was and car was tuned by a very well known worshop thinking of ringing again and complaining really pissing me off now
  23. Masda74 I spoke to the tuner and was advised that it's normal to idle bit rough at cold start and I've left it at that, Benny the car was not dynoed stock so I don't know I did the work myself and towed it to the tuner I'm in Wollongong
  24. no didn't see torque curve bizkets might be just me but was expecting bit more punch don't get me wrong can feel difference in pulling power but dosnt have the wow factor there
