  4. Hi all can anyone tell me where the breather line to the ZF Goes in at the engine bay I had it pulled out from the transmission but it’s now fallen off to where it hooks up too, can’t seem to find anywhere thanks
  5. If I drain the E85 and put in the 98 tune will I still have the ETC issue, will the car drive with 98?

  7. Thanks for the advice, can’t see any vac leak I’ll call the tuner on Monday, one more question why even with the car off and in drive car rolls like it’s in neutral

Hi all has anyone experience this before, when I start the car it idles at about 1500rpm and then when I select gear I get ETC fault come up still in idles at 1500 but although in gear it doesn’t engage it’s like it’s still in neutral, does it stand for engine temp control or engine throttle control thanks
  11. It's not the throttle body hose I'm running a silicon one, I've pressureised the plumbing as you said holds pressure, I removed the dump pipe again and the gate was closed I put 12psi as you said and it was opening and closing freely
  12. Thanks will try it What's to check on the turbo both vacuum lines from the boost solinoid to the turbo and accuator are good no play in the turbo all tight it's done about 2000km

Hi all fg xr6t won't boost it revs to about 4000rpm and won't rev any more and then when I back off I hear a gush of air coming out, it was tuned about a year ago on 98 and E85 ran perfect up until few weeks ago has the following mods 6235 precision turbosmart accuator twin 460 walbro's in PW serge PW fuel rail turbosmart reg ID 1000 injectors PW race box & cooler 4 Inch xforce ive done a bit of research on here and tried a number of things with no luck, I've repealed & checked all 6 coils replaced new genuine plugs gapped at .8 boost solenoid replaced ive checked all plumbing joins and hoses all good I removed the dump pipe to see if the flapper is moving freely with blowing air in the accuator and all good replaced fuel filter with all of the above still no luck is there any suggestions on what it could be or what else to check for before I take it to the tuner

  17. Hi all fg xr6t won't rev over 4000rpm can't visually see anything as I will be having a proper look tomorrow has anyone had this happen to them any ideas on what could be causing it boost leak from piping joins boost solenoid etc any help would be much appreciated

Hi all took the FG for a bit of a run this evening cruised to the servo to pick up e85 car had about 1/4 of a tank and I topped up 20 litres car drove the way it should for about 40km under load etc but all of the sudden when I accelerated car just started farting and splattering major loss of power, kept driving to get home normal acceleration and after a few minutes started doing the same thing farting splattering wanted to stall normal acceleration, pulled over to check it out but couldnt see nothing, it idled normal so started to drive away and same thing wanted to stall etc, turned the car off for about 10minutes drove off and it drove normal under normal load, then after about 5minutes I gave it some and no problem pulled the way it does, any thoughts of why it did this I'm running a 460 walbro intank and twin 460s in process west surge fuel pressure is normal sits at about 60psi, could it be a fuel pump problem, bad batch of fuel, fuel filter it's done 2000kms since last cleaned, faulty coil, any input would be great
  19. yeah I agree they are well maintained serviced etc but surly them running 24/7 as they don't turn them off wouldn't be a good thing
  20. Yes the ZF Is tuned,Your correct, it was low on oil about 800ml, I followed the level check procedure took it out had one go as it started to rain and it engaged 4th the way it should

I've used Autotech for my FG UTE 390rwkw on 98 runs PERFECT no idle issues when cold no stalling etc, FG sedan Autotech 460rwkw on E85 again runs like a dream, CMS my wife's FG running F6 TURBO 350rwkw on 98 nothing but trouble idles like a pig when cold stalls at traffic lights, under load and when you come off it will stall occasionally, been back numerous times only to do the same again the next day at the end I gave up took it to Autotech problem solved
  22. Makes sense now, fluid at filter change was done about 3,000kms ago, I've also noticed recently that when I change from 2nd to 3rd under normal driving it's not a smooth change but under load you don't notice it

Hi all took the car out for a squirt today and noticed under load from 3rd to 4th gear the revs hardly drop and instantly it's hitting the limiter, my first thought was I lost traction but after trying again didn't feel like I lost traction and did the same thing any thoughts guys why it's doing this and what it could be
