Thanks for all the info guys. I bought this car as an ex fleet car completely stock with a full service history. Car drives like new. has the premium sound / leather seats and steering wheel options. Has never been modified / boosted and I just wanted to tweak it a bit. Turns out that its no where near as easy as it was when I had my R33 skyline 12 years ago. I will call Mick at pitlane when I get the time to have it done and will probably get them to do a basic tune / plugs etc. I'm not looking for 400RWKW lol just a bit of an improvement over stock (Without destroying a motor)!.... Hi All, I have just recently purchased an 03 BA Auto XR6 T with full service history bog stock, except for an alternative muffler (slightly louder than stock). I wanted to increase boost a tad but nothing too crazy as my girlfriend will also need to drive this car and I don't want her killing herself or losing her licence. My question is and I know this has probably been asked a million times before by noobs like myself, do I need to purchase an addon unit for ECU? or can you reflash the actual ECU? I have done a tonne of reading on the forums and it seems you can't just install a bleed valve and tweak it a bit? any info in regards to this will be helpful, I am in melbourne so if and when I need a tune it will be great if anyone can recommend local tuners.
