  1. Keen as for 2. Pretty awesome this is actually happening. Good effort xr6tman.
  2. The std 3576 will always fall over at the top end on our engines. Just not big enough. Its good for like 30psi....on like a 2.0l
  3. Plenty of fg's with wear on the cam lobes, like mine. No failures so far though that im aware of. So dont bother maybe?
  4. Requires root though to backup some things but ralphy
  5. The soft rubber diff bushes contribute to this also. They distort until they can't any more, Tires start to spin, Bush "relaxes" and start to absorb the load again tires grip. Rinse and repeat
  6. Sounds like a plan buff, there is quite a few nice turbos around our area that aren't on this forum. Always see a real nice white fg f6 parked at the station, no wing, black wheels black roof, de badged. Looks tough
  7. Not that your point is invalid BUT would you let said innocents drive your ute with 300rwkw and sh*tty commercial tyres on it in the wet.My triton which has four perfectly good commercial tyres on it broke loose on me at 90kmh in the wet out at daybora just last Friday. I was coasting through a corner in a 100 zone as im already cautious of how sketchy it is. Cars coming the other way and all. I may have gone the wrong way about honing my driving skills but I was very glad I had them. I let the wheel go and caught it and after a couple of seconds in the slide gave the brake a little tap and it came back. Alot of people would have just grabbed the brake and continued in whatever direction the were facing. No I dont think im a hero, I farkin sh*t myself and the heart wouldnt calm down for like 10 min. I was very shaken. Just glad I reacted the way I did. Driver ability and education trumps all IMO.
  8. I regularly run them down to 0mm...then buy 2 new ones..
  9. Did somebody have a word to you bout your manscaping?
  10. Chit hey, im just over the hill from you at ferny grove. Was waaay to farkin hot for anything on straya day.You still driving that blue phoon? Im in a black g6et...or a maroon au wagon with black wheels...or a triton..
  11. Looks like a stick or rather a branch has flicked up. Happend on the passenger door of my vx. You get one just the right shape and just clip the end of it and it's like side show bob standing on a rake.
  12. Methanol.... There is pretty much nothing cost effective you can do
  13. Well from recent reports matt it would seem that the PMU NS400's are pretty much the perfect pad. Yet to try them myself though. I have found the a1rm's to be excellent, I expected dust and noise though...they actually quite down after a beating and only get noisy when the missus has been driving to work all week. I'm not sure how people end up with all these dramas, I beat the hell out of mine regularly and havent had the T3's fail me yet but I suspect the root of most problems isn't actually the brakes themselves, or at least it didn't start there.

Yeah its giving me the sh*ts atm with fuel at a dollar ish and lpg at 70c. Do the maths and lpg is no better off atm
  15. The kpm twin in tank is an expensive option if your goal isn't 700kw Good setup for e85 though and you would make more power if its a viable option Also manual or auto? Can probably factor in a box if zf if your going to start pushing 400
  16. I used the ultimate on my AU, looks brilliant now (after a polish and wax as well) but yeah its pretty aggressive and shouldn't be required on an fg. Polish and wax should be fine
  17. Dont the tab was talkin bout u bud How bout we throw some font ideas around. Ill do a couple of photoshops when I get home. Im thinking something with an embossed look
  18. I don't care about having an xr6turbo.com sticker on my g6, it's a url ffs, my car has badges to say what it is. To be fair to the site owner there was no other variants initially and in a way the site name pays homage to that. Should I just delete my account coz my car doesn't say xr6 ffs? We won't even mention the GM owners still lingering. It's about free promotion of this forum to hopefully increase the size of our community, and xr6tman is prepared to take it upon himself to do that for this community. Pretty disappointed in the overall response really. Cmon guys stop being pedantic, negative karnts and get behind the community YOU belong to.
  19. Did you reconnect the boost solenoid and did you reuse your old actuator? If not are you sure the 2nd hand one has a std actuator. If the turbo came off an f6 fairly certain they have a different actuator.
  20. Lol yeah unless your way above sea level no need to change it
  21. Correct in a way, expect to change rotors every 3rd pad change with aggressive pads(2 sets of pads to one set of rotors) depending on how much of a hiding they get. Still quite alot of km's though
