  1. I didn't think it would be anything but the tune either trana but look at what he just said........can't see that being tune related.
  2. No the pump, if a intank hose has split within the assembly in just the right place it could become an issue under brakes and not acceleration or cruising. Can you make it consistently stall? If so does gently coasting to a stop make a difference?
  3. I was sure it would be tune related until you mentioned its ok above half a tank. Coincidences are always possible. Are you able to pull it out and have a gander? Not overly difficult.
  4. Awesome stuff mate haven't seen a thread like this in a lil while...I feel like there is more to it though? What happened after fuel pump?
  5. Sounds like a split hose in tank. Though it should have been a problem prior to the tune if that was the case.
  6. What injectors were used? Did the tuner supply them?Who tuned it? Have you bashed the limiter since tune?
  7. Cock up for sure, it's law in most countries that it must have a shutter sound that cannot be disabled. Well for official roms it is......
  8. Lol bullsh*t indeed, I get way more than 5000ks out of rotors that's just ridiculous. Might be common for him if he never fixes/identifies the cause...
  9. Nissan GT-R Altechno A1 1/4 mile — 8.2 sec.: http://youtu.be/xSOXH-s3mCY
  10. Control arm bushes mentioned 3 times on the first page lol....glad you found the issue mate.
  11. Its a lot cheaper IF you find one at the right price and can do it yourself.
  12. I rode my pushy like 13km each way to get to fkn high school......
  13. 270rwkw actually seems pretty conservative for those mods. F6 cooler is going to affect repeatability/consistency Id say somewhere around 300rwkw is possible. Who is tuning it?
  14. Don't do it pix, it's rank
  15. Why did I Google that, you can't. Un see that. F u biz
  16. Think your taking it a bit personally I was having a dig at ford more than anything. The particular dealer you use could be excellent for all I know, and every may have done correctly. Don't be harsh on yourself mate, your not a bad omen or whatever you think. Anybody can do it really, some will pick things up quicker than others. Grab yourself some basic tools and(make sure this includes a torque bar) a decent jack and some stands. Do plenty of research and save some dosh whilst being confident it's done right. I pretty much refuse to take my cars to a mechanic, too hard to find good ones. I struggle with getting tyres fitted cause I know the dumb karnts will either f*ck my wheels or not torque the nuts up correctly...or both...or not torque the nuts at all. Had a clunking noise after getting tyres fitted and felt weird on corners. Wheel was so loose it moved. Thanks Jax Quikfit mitchelton....
  17. I understand mate, just sayin...what do you expect? You could try undoing the links and see if the bar actually moves freely. Could be to tight. Some even space the bracket out with some thin washers. Aaron is yet to spill the beans on WHO installed said sway bar upside down. HOW we will never know...id say drugs we're involved.
  18. Maybe you should stop getting Ford to do sh*t, coz that's exactly what they do.......sh*t. Pics of sway bar!!! Would be piss funny to see another upside down one
  19. Random warning that make no sense and just go away are often signs of a dying battery. I had one on the way out and now and again I would get random faults, dsc, rss, headlamp were the most common. When it finally died, you would turn the ignition on and pretty much everything would go into fault at once. New battery and haven't had an issue since. The only code I had, which only showed with forscan was from the abs module, "battery voltage out of range" It seems once the float drops below a certain level modules start chucking the sh*ts.
  20. Take the handbrake before attempting to remove rear rotors lol...I actually back the shoes off a bit they can still catch even with it off. Fronts are easy as, may require some flogging. Having a big rubber mallet handy is a must also. I also like to use a large socket and one wheel nut to hold the rotor on whilst putting the pads/caliper back on.
  21. Lol will your car chalk 3rd or 4th stock jet? Haven't tried 4th but I know my stock fg does 3rd no worries, on the brake of course. Then let it go and weeeeee. In a comp of course.....burnouts are illegal and naughty.......
  22. Look whilst he is wrong and has no business bagging jet for trading his car without mods. He's a f*cking human being. All I see is a couple of terry tough nuts mouthing off on the internet. Would you seriously speak to somebody like that in person over something so trivial?Settle the f*ck down guys, jezus....... And if he's responded the same with all the name calling ect which I see no evidence of, shame on the lot of u
  23. Have you green lighted the top end rebuild yet? A bf/fg donor could be sourced for that money that have stronger rods amongst other things. 2nd hand engines are obviously an unknown quantity. So is a ba bottom end though...
  24. So what your saying is your potentially going to get std's......from yourself
