  1. f*ck yeah!!! I'm literally clapping right now. Sell the turbo with your old rear housing for 500, cheering. Are you just doing oil pump gears and springs? so FPT are tuning it, low k fg long sorted. This is going to turn out well for sure, could there be enough in the budget for something other than a btr now?
  2. Punched the producer Rest of this season may not be shown... http://m.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-31824040
  3. Good stuff mate, enjoy your new stopping power, just make sure there is nothing on the seat when you give em a proper test....like pizza...like I did... Missus "what the hell happened to these pizzas" Me: "err dunno, useless bloody teenagers.."
  4. I was dead serious about the fuel mat, it's very interesting and potentially revolutionary bit of kit. Not overly expensive either, its new to the market and as far as I know nobody has tried it in out cars yet. Everbody is saying fg cause apart from the stronger bottom end, it comes with alot of other goodies you are looking at buying, plenum, cams blah blah said it all before. I bet if you dropped a lowish k fg donk in you could flog the piss out of it at 450kw for alot longer than the brand new built btr your going to drop a bomb on. Not against what u want to do at all mate, just want to see you do it right this time around.
  5. Did I miss something, have these engine mounts always been avalible for fg's? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=261789035155&alt=web
  6. Well since your in the business of spending ridiculous amounts of money in strange ways....I would suggest large single intank with a holley fuel mat. https://www.holley.com/news/articles/holley_debuts_new_hydramat_fuel_reservoir/ Go on, be the first of us to try it.
  7. Huh? That was just an example of what happens to air mixed with liquid. You need to undo the calipers and lines, swap sides and re bleed, brackets shouldn't need changing. What I mean is the calipers are on the wrong side of the car! Not change the fittings around..
  8. From memory the brackets are the same, should be able to to just swap the calipers over
  9. Yep wrong sides, air is trapped, it needs to rise. Nipple at the top Take a bottle of water and put a pin hole in the top, turn it upside down and squeeze, air will only come out once the water is gone, air being lighter will always rise to the top
  10. Did you bleed both sides of the brembos? Alternate inside outside on each caliper more than once, I think its ment to go, outside then inside, dont think it really matters but just do it a couple of times. Also its hard to make out from those photos of the rears but your brake line looks to be sitting at the top of tge caliper? Nipple should be at the top. Wrong sides maybe? Also ive never been this unlucky but did you place something under the pedal to stop the pedal going to the floor? Apparently letting the piston in the master cylinder travel to far can stuff the seal. Apparently...
  11. Mate if you get enough to weather the storm so to speak than it can actually be a good thing. Besides coles is choice, think about the mad staff discount on bbq chicken and ciggies lol.....
  12. ^^^^ +2 Said it a million times, get an fg long and even throw new rods and pistons in it if your really worried. Comes with all the good stuff. FG inlet manifold and fuel rail is good to like fkn 700kw lol. Joe from cms said just the other day that he's seen 500rwkw on a stock fg bottom end.... Save your money for a gearbox, your going to need it.. People are probably gonna flame me for this, going away from trends, you know a t700 or 4l80e can be built to handle over 1000nm these days, soooo many good parts avalible. 4 gears and a lockup converter...500rwkw gearbox doesn't really mean sh*t, who was that quote from, gearbox's are generally rated by input torque, how quickly that torque multiplies is what breaks em...
  13. Do government land valuations actually mean anything? Just got mine and it's gone up 40k, last time it went up about 30, so 70 in like 3 years? Obviously my rates will go up but does that actually reflect the market value of the land? Or is it just smoke and mirrors so they can put your rates up?
  14. True that if redundancies are happening industry wide atm then stay put for sure, unless you fancy working at coles...
  15. If you are good at what you do stripey and confident you will find another job easily then take the redundancy mate, have a break, and plan your next move with a clear mind. That's what I did recently, pocketed 25k, kicked back for a bit, did some work on the hpuse and had plenty of me time to think, few weeks later applied for 2 jobs and got them both. So got a new job with good people around me, pretty much ready to sell this place and move the on to the next one(might rent it out not sure yet) thanks to that little boost, and free time. Putting your hand up to get laid off is weird...but go on, break the routine and shake sh*t up a bit, feels good.
  16. Only real men look behind them at the smoke whilst doing a skid, f*ck where your going aye..
  17. If the rim hits it cant be a +35, if its just the tyre id say its the 35 series, you may need a 30. Spacers are illegal in most states and they are only to correct the wrong offset, which you shouldn't need to as you bought brand new rims! Cant really believe they would suggest that.... Also machining a +15 to a 35 requires removing a substantial amount of material, is that safe?
  18. Does the inside of the rim hit the upright? Mine is quite close there.
  19. None of those vehicles were repairable biz lol..
  20. that's a 20/245/30 on a 8.5 +35 so maybe it's the 35 series tyre? I think +30 or even +25 is better for an 8.5
  21. Any reputable builder should honour the warranty, I had a t700 let go that was 2 days old and they fixed it no questions asked..Sure Shift Automatics at Geebung(qld), good guys. Not sure if they are still around lol, was some time ago now.
  22. Are the g6et and xr6t leather seats the same except for the base? My front ones are a bit ordinary, I suspect the previous owners were fat arses... Also did you get the piano black trims?
  23. No advertising, 6 month waiting lists for the xr8, and dealers trying to charge 10k+ over rrp doesn't really equate to good sales.... G6ET is the pick of the bunch imo, given the new price, looks and spec....havent seen one fkn ad, not even a billboard, people dont even know they exist!
  24. I got mine from Poland, they were fairly simple to setup, I just road tuned mine using a narrowband lol...far from ideal... Mind you im only making like 250hp...id imagine the complex converters are the problem for big hp applications?
  25. BLOS LPG mixers are the go if you have a complex converter(positive feed) I have 2 on a 5.0 windsor, makes the same power as it does on petrol. Economy is alot better than a simple mixer ring as the BLOS is a variable mixer. One is enough for 200hp N/A but im sure it would make more with boost being shoved through it. They are also well suited to turbo applications and wont require any modification. Not sure about the impco but I can see how a traditional mixer ring may not be suited to a boosted application. Dont know much about gas research converter but I know the omvl one I have is only good to about 400hp and its the biggest they make. Any more and I guess you need 2? Also another thought, with the way lpg pricing is going is it all really worth it, im finding im only marginally better off atm, glad I didn't pay for the conversion... Another thing, all systems must be closed loop these days for emissions, and stepper motors are gay, this is where an injection system is much better as most of the time your not in open loop(over 3500rpm...ish), mine feels alot better response wise without the stepper motor as the blos carbies dont need it...bit its not legal(I have taken the piston out od the stepper....shhhh looks legit...)
