    I need one of those gear pullers! Last time I did my rears I had to give up and let them soak in wd40 overnight to get them off. This ute is coming along very nicely mate, really love the colour and the interior looks to be in very good condition. I would swear that last photo is your other ute though!

    That doesn't look right mate, I have 2 cats that scratch me all the time(coz Im a karnt) and it never gets that bad.     Mmm ratter seems to agree with you re tuning a terry on 2wd dyno. Wouldn't having the front wheels reconnected after the tune affect the load points anyway? Keen to see your transfer case mod idea grego and whether it helps the rest of the drive train reliability.

    Do you think they don't use a tensioner coz it can move in both directions(reverse)? Coz when the side with the tensioner became the load side it would want to straighten out potentially breaking the tensioner? Seems odd not to use one? Surely a heavy duty chain like that hasn't stretched that much?

    They have different oil fittings to the gt/gtx also. According to their website Negligible part of the cost though I suppose

    There are also after market option's http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=121688358914&alt=web Apparently the projector in those is better than the genuine mk11 projectors. Genuine can also be had on fleabay for 600 a pair which is cheaper per light but obviously you don't need 2..maybe Phil can hook you up if you want to go genuine?

    Forget the type of engine. No, you will make more power down low the more torque you make down low, once rpm is up it becomes the more significant multiplier, look at the calculation again. This is just my understanding anyway

    That's not what he said, if those 2 engines were making the same power at the same rpm the maths tells us they have to be making the same torque

    Power is calculated, torque is read HP = rpm x t / 5250 not sure bout metric? So basically it takes x amount of torque to make x amount of power at x rpm. Forget what engine it may be, its just math's.
