60k is and it isnt. Its actually a hell of a car but yeah compared to the 40k tag on the ST its sh*t loads. You do get quite a bit more than the ST performance wise for your money... Not a hell of alot cosmetically. Ford have nailed it though and it is officially the king of the hot hatches, by motor trend no less. Before errybody is like Golf R Golf R.... No It doesnt even have a real fkn 4wd system..... It produces a better 0-100 coz of its dual clutch and it ends there more or less, RS destroys all in its class everywhere else performance wise...Golf R couldnt touch it on the track, or the closed back road the did timed runs on and motor trend started talking about whats actually better on a back road "gtr, porsche 911..." they laughed and said "think about what we are comparing it too....." 260kw 400+nm + proper 4wd with real torque vectoring, in a package that was already a crowd favourite for its ability (ST) So all things considered.... is 60k really that much given the performance it packs is actually bonkers. Dunno if anybody has watched their "Greatest Drivers Car" stuff... Shelby GT350R came second, To the mclaren. Its not all about times but the 350r layed down the 4th fastest time around laguna seca amongst some serious company. Quicker than a 2017 gtr with awd and its fancy dual clutch......GTR also had more power so had everything going for it. The 350r is a very complete package and it shows. Also the best sounding car of the pack, by a fair margin Ford is really starting to get it right with some products....

Getting it there with its current displacement and stroke that makes it the tourqe monster it is would be mint. Would need to sort out its tendancy to want to tear itself apart though.....horrible harmonics

Edit, Since these seems like exactly the right place of what could have been.. Imagine another decade of development. A variable vein turbo or even a well developed compound setup or something tricky. Delux combo pcm with flex fuel and wideband sensors etc... A 7 or 8 spd ZF, A chassis and rear end that coukd make use of what the barra had to offer. Would it not be interesting to see... dare I say it, a HSFPV Falcadore... A GTS with a F6 or Sprint engine in it......Just to see what the fark that creation would have to offer.....

tech is not that old, tech wise um not sure what you could do exactly hardware wise, its all there, refinement and higher build quality perhaps not that its bad. Better software/pcm with more feature perhaps. Direct injection is a load of sh*t imo, my ST has it and it blows like a diesel initially when you give it the berries, nothing to keep valves, runners etc clean.. super high pressure fuel system etc. It gets 11L/100km, farks me if its any better for it... other than that the ecobeast is a 2.0 basic turbo, intercooled twin ohc 4 banger makes 180 odd kw and sounds like sh*t from the engine bay and is becomimg known for ringland failure....... not exactly ground breaking technology, but hey ecoboost badge creates the illusion it is... Thank fark the ST doesnt have one...

lol, vn's do not need oil for bam bam bam single peggeres, they are heaps weird. Mate had one when we were like 17 or whateva it was and the thing would go 1st bam 2nd and single peg 2nd forever, so much smoke. They dont even make that much power wtf. Really bad suspension, 205 tyres I dunno, definitely dont need help making smoke

did lol at 500 year old keyboard, I have a 498 year old Microsoft one, always gets over looked... I think im gonna splash on a good mechanical one, which may even improve my csgo movement a teeny bit, in particular stop stepping etc.. been playing since it was a hl mod so like..15 years.. finally got an actual gaming mouse like 2 months ago, it improved my game somewhat in little places, I would say a $40 gaming mouse is alot better than a $8 mouse, I dunno if a $150 gaming mouse is any better than the $40 one... really felt like it was the quality sensor that made any difference over the cheap one... slightly less input lag over the cheap mouse which is noticible in certain situations. I only use wired stuff.. hate the input lag of wireless sh*t

Haha I watched that on Facebook minutes after it was posted and the first thing I thought was wait until Tracey Grimshaw see's this. I dont have a massive problem with it but I do think from a saftey perspective somebody should have been in the car ready to yank the hand brake, knock it out of gear etc... Like he is 5 could have taken off anywhere can barely reach the controls is my main concern. Otherwise solid skid....

change your gearbox ratios azz, you dont seem like the sort of person that gives a sh*t about practically.... my ST has a close ratio box and does nearly 3000rpm in 6th at 100kmh. You get used to it. In practical but awesome for what its intended for. fark the cruise gear make it an actual gear, maybe change first as well dunno

Pretty sure the coil will still trigger off the 12v signal if you did as above, Might not either or even hurt it. Tweak the voltage with a simple resistor or a linear regulator even but I dont think the load will vary if its just a trigger so a resistor may even be fine if the pcm doesnt spaz out about the voltage drop. Otherwise you may need a relay and a seperate 5v source which sounds fraught with problems...
