  1. Now that looks mint...I like the f6 badge on the airbox only coz it is an f6. But my ocd wants it to be parallel to the left edge lol..but it looks like it wont fit there?

Do it bomber...just got to get it halfway across the country....
  3. I meant a converter would help the 82 with feeling more responsive, pretty certain it still has it over the 76 without a converter at the strip.Apart from the intial spool it goes harder. But that's the exact reason the 76 is a weapon on the street, standing start and how often do you race for 400m to vehicle confiscating speeds lol? A manual gtx 76 vs 82 would be an interesting comparison though, the tables may even turn I dunno
  4. Over 400m, probably not. If its all about drag racing then a converter would help(the 82), that obviously comes at the cost of streetability. In saying that turbo converters shouldnt be too "loose". Between a set of lights though the little gtx will pull the pants down on most things.Has a gtx76 cracked a 10 on 98 does anybody know? I would think it would fall short given the power they make on 98.
  5. The gtx76 in as hard and fast as possible is probably just as bad if not worse when it comes to breaking sh*t, its not all about how much power a part can take, how quickly you make it plays a part as well.

Lucky new owner scoring your car mate, I know you had your share of probs but it seemed like you got it perfect in the end. A new journey begins hey.
  7. Get one from an aus seller mate you will have it in a day or 2 usually. I got a cheap one like this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=221855665459&alt=web Which has been flawless but some have probs with the cheap ones. Which really comes down to the asian kid that put it together rather tha the components....
  8. You really need a scan tool, even a obd dongle would do, depending on how soon after you disconnected the battery you started unplugging things some codes may have been logged like airbag, and need resetting. Im not sure if the Keep Alive Memory functions that way though. In any case more details from a scan tool may help us assist more accurately. An OBD dongle and Forscan for windows is best for diagnosing actual problems if going down the Bluetooth dongle route. Dongle can be had for like 20 bucks or so from ebay, forscan is free
  9. Could not recommend the control blade mod unless you have found the limit of the best set of 275 tyres you can find. Tyre quality before width people. Ive had cheap ass 275's that than grip significantly less than half decent 245's
  10. Was it the upper to lower gasket or the manifold to head gasket chris?
  11. Metabo FTW, broken clutches, electric brakes, even chucks with constant 140mm hole saw abuse on everything else I have tried, most recently snapped the chuck retaining bolt on a Milwaukee that was 6 months old. Keep busting out the 8 yo metabo every time one gives up, and it just takes it. Metabo ftw I should add the metabo has started jumping out of gear now and again but it has still outlasted, Hitachi, Milwaukee, AEG, Panasonic and Ryobi. In my experience anyway
  12. Erm wtf lol? Glad I've made my point anyway....

  16. Lol skids you just love bagging kpm, so does jet. Also why is it incorrect to advertise the correct size at the correct fuel pressure(as tested)? Perhaps if all cars ran the same fuel pressure and they advertised at a different one just to inflate numbers then I would see your point....
  17. That's sucks man, how did you manage a refund? Did they advertise them as clearing big brakes?
  18. Yeah just do this, its an awesome package. And why Bomber I thought you were happy with it now?
  19. +1 for not skimping on injectors, there is more to the story than just making a number. If you want something that idles like stock with good economy get ID's, KPM's or even the generic Bosch 1000's are popular enough now tuners should be all over setting them up.
