  1. does that bonnet have pins now? its lifting quite a bit in that second shot
  2. mate dont you know the universe will explode if you use your phone at a petrol station
  3. nobody said that couldnt be done. I looked into the turbo bf2/3 thing quite seriously. The hardest parts, that are optional...FG dash wont go straight in a b series. Only option for rear seats is custom, pretty much only front seats from a sedan will fit, no matching high trim options in wagons. As far as the driveline goes its all pretty straight forward id love to do one with fg mk2 dash and functioning fg electronics, and a factory looking lux interior. Big task
  4. looks mint....and suits your driveway lol
  5. Has anybody tried those with brembos? I know erry body says the ba xr8 is the only non fpv wheel that works...

    My Build

Also keen on the carbon wrapping, the piano black surround on the centre console has bubbled where an air fresher sat on it that was around the gear selector. I always wished they did the whole lot in that fake carbon fibre look like the dash and door spears(g6et) so keen to just do the whole lot so it all matches, probably just use some xt spears and sell the g6et ones or something. My concern was the extra thickness wrapping will create and possible fitment issues. Want it to wrap all the way around the edges of the parts or possibly even the entire part using a vacuum forming or something to prevent lifting. Also considering hydrographics or whatever its called but it seems kind of expensive, no idea how the carbon works out cost wise. Vinyl just wouldnt have the longevity or quality im thinking
  7. Wonder if he does fifo tunes, getting on the piss and road tuning(in that order) sounds fun to me

    XR6T newbie.

Very clean, 2nd white super clean b series that has got a mention today. Once again I feel the want to trade the g6 for a white bf rspec. Big fan of white for some reason, I know alot of people think it's boring. White B series turbo's aren't all that common either. White....
  9. hope it is 2 weeks mates, I really do. I can understand tony being upset with you, few of us did try to convince you otherwise in tony's defence in regards to that issue...Dominello however, pretty much just unacceptable, doesnt matter how busy you are surley they can squeeze one BTR in, in bloody 12 months. If you cant, make the customer clearly aware at the time like I dunno, when they accepted up front payment ffs. That work pre dates the issue with tony anyway which was early this year. Absolute horse sh*t customer service on dominellos behalf imo, unless of course there's more to the story you arent telling us.....
  10. Rinses clean with no residue hey...does that mean no need to shamwow?
  11. ^double FACT? or triple, do you have to end facts about facts with fact? space is bending as we think about the facts
  12. the factory tune is pretty fat and pretty sure they dont use a lean cruise strategy stock coz save the environment and sh*t...that's why there are economy gains to be had.
  13. how has the battery life been compared to stock? Been tempted to go cm on my s6 for a while now
  14. cant recall an option to turn it off, mine has always been on.
  15. single pegger send the exact same torque to both wheels, so if it takes fark all power to spin the wheel, lets say 10kw if its really low grip, 10kw at the other wheel wont do much. If it takes 300kw to spin 3rd gear on a dry road they are probably both going to spin, starting a skid on the brakes can force both wheels as well. Where a single pegger gets dangerous is unloading a wheel quickly, suddenly it takes less power to spin the inside wheel, less goes to the outside and it can stop spinning effectively gripping = death
  16. lmfao the bit about keyless entry...im flattered you went lookin for that just to burn me jet... lol should have finished watching it before commenting, the integrated pussy finder is way better.. "looking for pussy" *nods
  17. lol yeah the ST also lift off oversteers quite easily if you want it to but wouldnt say its a bad charecteristic. Need to stab the throttle and lift carrying a fair bit of speed to get a sort of drift out of it, even then obviously you cant hold it. Where it is very usefull is making the car rotate and turn in more if you need it to. I use this to great effect when overtaking on the outside lane on round abouts....can accelerate all the way to mid corner lift momentarily, rotate a bit and punch it again. Its a totally different driving style to big powerfull cars. You really can get away with alot, like braking hard and turning in aggressively as you lift off the brake, g6 pretty much always need to trail brake it a bit, just need to be gentle with a big powerfull car with average suspension, sudden weight transfers will see you in the trees before you know what happens. ST is like any little hot hatch, evo, wrx whatever. Need to push them very hard before actual talent is required.
  18. to add some reasoning to the manual, since you use your ute for camping and events like power cruise, probably not that concerned about drag times. 6cogs and a third pedal at the track would be my choice clutch kicks ftw, I clutch kick the ST all the time and its gay, just cant help it....still has a pretty decent skate in 2nd at 60kmh with a kick, trys to yank the wheel out of your hands #zeromechanicalsympathy
  19. I think go the manual but that's just personal opinion more than anything lol, not based on any reasoning. So dominello havent delivered on their promise after having the box for over a year you paid upfront for?
  20. its load related then and probably not engine itself. check the things keify mentioned. Does it happen at a particular speed or more noticible at a given speed. I say speed and not rpm coz im thinking tailshaft centre bearing but it's just another guess really mate without a great deal to go on my exhaust would rattle when idling in gear. moved the rubbers around a bit and did the hose clamp trick on the rear one to lift the tip up a bit when I was doing some other stuff to the car on the weekend. been quiet since lol, didnt even set out to fix it..
