Police are on the lookout for an $80,000 Ford which was stolen from a dealership in Ringwood on Friday. Investigators have been told that a man attended the Maroondah Highway premises around 3.40pm. He told staff that he was interested in purchasing their 2013 white Ford FPV-GT and asked if they could start it for him. The man then jumped into the car, drove it out of the dealership and was last seen headed east along Maroondah Highway. The offender is perceived to be of Middle Eastern appearance with olive skin, in his 30s, 170cm tall with short dark hair. At the time of the offence he was wearing a light blue long sleeve t-shirt and light coloured pants. Police have released images of the stolen car, registration TRY-888 and ask that anyone who sees the vehicle to call triple zero.
