I'm having a problem with my bluetooth too, but different to yours. Sometimes, if the person I am speaking to hangs up before me, the phone disconnects but the car still thinks it is connected and the only way to disconnect the car is to turn off the phone and then turn it back on again.... Is anyone else having this problem?? It is intermittent (some days are worse than others) and Ford reckon they can't see a fault. Thanks.

Nor sure where it is (haven't looked) but it sure is different from previous Falcons...... bit small car for my liking, but loud!

WhenI purchased my two previous XR6Ts in 02 and 05, you could register your SIDO or something and Ford would email you a couple of pics of what was said to be your car on the production line. Does anyone know if this is still available?? Thanks.

I had a K & N air filter in by BA XR6T and kept and washed it to put in the FG. After attempting to fit last weekend, I don't think that it fits though (anyone else notice the stupid allen key screws holding the lid on now instead of the old clips??). Has anyone replaced this item as yet and if so, is it the same part as the BA one?? Thanks!

You are right. I noticed that yesterday and thought I was going crazy. Interesting idea. I was outside with lights on and dash seemed dark, then went into an underground carpark and the dash magically lit up! I am sure it is an ICC setting (can't remember how I did it though).

My beast has finally arrived (10 weeks - ordered on 17/4/08). Specs are XR6T sedan, 6spd auto, Seduce, Luxury Pack, Tech Pack. Feels miles quicker than my 05 XR6T sedan auto.. Very impressed!! I notice that Seduce is not a popular colour on the order colour poll. Good for me.. Here are a couple of pics.

I'm hoping I can find out some info about connecting my iPod into the car stereo directly, rather than by FM transmitter. I've done a search of some previous posts (all around May 2004) and all attachments have been deleted or are unavailable. I have a MkII with the XR luxury pack which includes the premium sound. I've alraedy changed the globes to Phillips Blue Visions (pulled them out of my phantom before I sold it). They make a huge difference over standard. Thanks for the advice.

G'day guys, Looking for some advice if possible please. I've just recently picked up my MkII and am not happy with the adjustment on the height of the headights. My MkI were set up perfectly (in my opinion) with the lights being up high enough that when you put the driving lights on, they filled the gap below the headlights exactly. My new one's lights seem to be too low to me and I was wondering what is the accepted method of adjusting the lights I.e xxx distance from a wall etc. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks. Al.

Yes I have it and no luck with warranty claim. they say it is 'normal'. great to have a $50K taxi isn't it....
