If the XR6T gets another 10kw what will the XR8 have?

Does the SS have traction troubles because of the lighter rear end.

I think if you want the sporty image of an XR you should have to pay the full price. It's a bad thing for Ford if this sought of thing keeps up.

Don't forget the XT best family car, XR6 turbo and XR8 beat VY SS, Fairlane beats Statesman and Fairlane G220 beats Caprice. The Holdens are series 2 and they're still one step behind BA. Falcons really are kicking butt.

I think too many people are confusing the new GT and GT-P with the old GT-HOs pure performance. The GT should is more about handling than horses under the bonnet. I think the the only car a GT could be mistaken as is a GT-P, but the XR8 is closer to the XR6 and turbo. As for the starter button, at least Ford has done something new, which rarely occurs in Australia.

Don't forget it has to be light weight.

Has anyone timed the Pursuit ute aswell because that would probably be even quicker. By the way BLKXRT have you got any mods cos 5.3 seems too quick for a standard

People are giving HSV too much praise. We do not know how reliable this car would have been. The only way a car can be tested is by customers driving them on the road for a few years, not just on a test track. Their flagship GTS has troubles and it costs $100k. I'm guessing twice as many troubles for a car that costs twice as much.

It was supposed to be XR8s and XR6Ts both with 300kw but I don't think Geoff Polites was to impressed with the idea when he and Dick mentioned the idea at Clipsal 500 as it would draw people away from the GT and GT-P. Can't remember exactly where I heard this from but it sounded pretty reliable. Plus the advertisements been taken off the DJR website so I don't think it'll happen.
