I would translate that to the installed height of the clutch was higher than stock so the Centric Slave Cylinder (hydraulic release bearing) was applying pressure to the clutch spring although the clutch pedal was release and in turn reducing the clamping pressure on the clutch allowing for slippage.
That's an issue effecting a lot of younger/newer to the industry guys. The boom generated the impression that the resource sector is stable and "jobs for life" nothing could be further from the truth.
The reason it has traditionally paid more than other industries is due to instability so companies had to pay more to attract people from lower paying but more stable roles.
csb- when I came out of my time in 2001 the mining industry was farked (especially gold and nickel). Took 6 months to find a job and the only role I could get was 6&1 on......$21 sub rate so no sick leave/annual leave/etc etc. Took a good 3 or 4 years to turn around

C'mon WA Peps, if we all go out and buy 2 pavers each today we can keep Murdock in a Job. He's flying the 10sec flag for us so deserves our support.
*Also please don't get laid off until you've sorted my cheap paver
Line in the sand people. The jokes and personal shots aimed at bcb stop now. Whether you agree or disagree this is not the place to have this convo. Take it to facebook.
Last warning.
I've hand no Pms from you.
Everyone was warned to stop. Everyone else did. You got 24hrs then took it upon yourself to create another account to circumvent the ban.
That would usually get you banned for life. Count yourself lucky.
That is the last comment I will make one the matter. Be rest assured if this deal keeps up and your petty digs continue you will experience the same again.
