    Help!

Where do I send my invoice?
  2. Yup.
  3. They don't spec half a hole.... Are you housings aligned bang on as per the old turbo? That will also affect preload.
  4. Yes. T YEs, TS are very specific about actuator preload with their actuators. So I'd start there.
  5. So if you are able to extract the most HP per 1000kj burned you woud require less fuel to do the same work hence fuel effciency would also improve? BAM! Semantics!
  6. What are you defining as effciency? Horsepower, Fuel Econ or Both?
  7. Have you physically inspected your fuel line since running E85? I'd be willing to bet thry are cracked and dried out. Even at 12 to 1 comp you can't get around the lower energy content of E85 so not matter how hard you squeeze if your going to need use more of it and the price break just isn't there at the moment and I cannot see that changing if demand goes up. As a performance fuel I think it's the best thing since sliced christmas cake.
  8. lolwut Due to the total lack of flexfuel compatiabilty in our cars I stand by what I say. 12 to 1 doesn't account for variance in E content. Also worth noting my F6 lives on E85 but im in no illusions about the drawbacks.
  9. E85 is good for a singular purpose. It's not so great for an everyday car.
  10. who did you manifold Ozy? Price?
  11. Depends some are all goo some have rubber u seals at each end and goo in the middle
  12. Are you using a Turbosmart billet actuator?
  13. Don't wind the tool down so far, you should have a small mag pick up tool, use that and a seal pick or thin screwdrivers to load the collect into the retainer and then hold the retainer with the screw driver and remove the magnet. The trick is to get the retainer height just right so it helps grab the collet.
  14. Cruise control isn't the issue. You need to get the tune adjusted to suit the ratios in the new box.
  15. Happy days all round!

    Help!

5/30 will be fine given the relativly mild temps down your way. Best way to to clean the turbo filter is to pitch it clean over your shoulder into the bin and either run without (as I do) or run an external aftermarket unit.

    Help!

Let them carry out what the want to do (which is actually what ford suggest, apply 12v and flush with solvent. I prefer to use an injector tester to cycle the solenoid while it's submerged in an ultrasonic cleaning bath.) I think your best bet is a cheap fix then get it home and get a decent shop to check it out if the problem reoccurs. Oh and I know I said I wouldn't commet BUT CHANGE YOUR F'N OIL SOONER!!! 7,500kms Max
