  1. ID had issues with the ID1500's back in the day. No issues these days with any of their range. They are considered (rightly) the premium Injector for performance applications.
  2. Yeah just apply 275% trim on the back two cylinders... Yeah I figured that, was just playing along since it's Friday n all.
  3. More difficult than a stock standard run of the mill tune, but highly doable. We'll soon find since Turboknapp has a set of bumpity bump sticks ready to go into the blue meanie. BA Non FPV have a set offset between the intake and exhaust cam. BF and FG have dual VCT so cam position relative to each other can be changed in relations to each out (ie overlap) Technically it's Exhaust Cam position relative to Intake.
  4. higher lift and duration = more air in the motor. That's going to help response and consequencly power. Maxing duration/lift with out exceeding overlap the PCM can control is going to provide benefit over stock cams.

I need to get the GTX on the F6 proper before I think about playing with anyone's rear end, and before I do that i've got a turbo converted primered Xt that needs sorting and before I do that I need to get some sleep at some stage. The good news is the Barra patrol is done for the time being. I think I also need to crimp some battery cables on a blue shed ornament over the weekend as well.

  11. Seriously? Anecddotal evidence for about the last 8yrs suggest the turbine housing has a higher nickel content and is less prone to cracking.

  16. Mightbuyafords statement isn't 100% correct for a turbo car with dual vct and even less so in fg on with duo phased cams. Have a read of the specs page for atomics cams you'll see the pattern. Lift and duration are the key factors. Overlap is variable bf on wards.
