Hi Pitched diff noise is very difficult yo deaden. You'll need a butyl & foam based heavy underlay rather than usual stick on stuff. I've found industrial hearing loss takes car of most of the high pitched whines in my car (insert wife joke here) -

Was sitting in the car yesterday at the local shops and watched a nice clean late model commodore pull up next to me, dude gets out of the drivers seat. Wife gets out of the back seat HOLDING a newborn. No car seat no capsule.

Surprisingly when I bought the GT-P wheel I wieghed them. Front's were near on identical wieght (10kg ish?) and rears where only .5kg heavier which aint much when you consider the extra width of the rim and tire. BTW they are 5 spokes and for sale Steve.....
