  1. Second only to an actual wideband afr gauge.
  2. Seems like a reasonable mark up http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/como/engine-engine-parts-transmission/falcon-zf-6hp26-6-speed-auto-transmission/1095724137

http://www.wolfems.com.au/products/reluctor-1-single-channel Also the sensor Haltech are supplying is a honey well gt1 gear tooth sensor. Aprox $80 from rs components. Avaliable in a long version that should fit the ford timing case. Keep in mind the barra already has a 36 minus 1 crank trigger so it should only be a matter of getting the correct signal output for the ecu.
  4. But you can mix it with OJ for a smashing night out.

You are correct about the vct wiring. The control (earth) side of each vct solenoid goes back to the exchange connector separately. The physical hardware for independent vct existed on a BA but not the programming.
  6. That's a WBazza you need a TBazza
  7. Big job to replace the backing plate. Rear up right needs to come off, hub needs to be pressed out of the bearing and handbrake assembly needs to come off before you can remove the backing plate.
  8. Well on its way to being one of the best (if not the best) sorted b series Falcons out there.
  9. Call Simon at All fast Torque Convertor in Malaga. Tell him your Tocchis mate and he'll look after you on price. #1 reason for to failure is water contamination in the oil so you might want to get checked out before you proceed.
  10. Why dick around with a second hand convertor of unknown history when a stock convertor rebuild is well under $500
  11. Penny smart pound foolish, rebuilding an NA box and using a turbo mechatronics unit is going to cause more grief and ultimately cost you more than repairing the current box or sourcing a correct replacement. I boggles my mind that rebuilding the na box to quasi turbo using critical components from the current box is an option but rebuilding the current Box is not.
  12. We'll I can tell you they aren't 15mm pitch they are finer than that. Wasn't offering them for sale nearly measurement sake. Ford price (if available available) will make your eyes bleed
  13. Do you want me to go and measure a spare set of bolts I have?
  14. Also, don't fuck around with a pos na box. Ford reman are 3.5k installed. Reprice your collection of Brembos so they sell and do it once the right way.
  15. Possible? Yes. Bitch to tune? Absolutely.
  16. You can remove the complete Turbo I the same manner. The turbo in those pics had failed and I threw it back on the car to take some pics. Just remove the coolant lines, top oil feed and drain at the sump(pulse intake and exhaust obviously) Should only take an hour or so. I prefer to remove the turbo from the manifold rather than manifold from the head to save the ally threads in the heads.
  17. This is the setup I use- like this- If you lucky the studs will back out with the Lock Nuts, if not jump underneath and use a pair of mulitgrips/long nose pliers (I use vice grip LN-6 locking long nose pliers) to remove the studs. You bork the thread in the process but if you BA turbo has been on as long the stock bracket still being would indicate, they are due to be replacement anyway and are cheap ($40ish From Sonice Performance/MTQ)
  18. Unfortunately if they shoot you dead at an Eagle of death metal concert they win as well.
  19. Icc not functioning could be a simple fix or it could be a large drawn out expensive diagnosis and fix..i'd err on the side of expensive drawn out fix.
  20. I think I did okay for 0150 in the Am while drugged up on oxycodone? Still a better posts the Kiefs sob storey
