  1. The PCM is the ECU in this case. The car is looking for the Auto Trans and cannot find it. It's a very easy fix for your tuner to sort out.

  5. Yes correct, if the old loom is intact down at the trans just join them together at the old white plug, or trace them up to the main connector in the engine bay and bridge them there.
  6. Went to another members place today to adjust a couple of parameters in his tune. His sisters car had just been detailed and I complemented him o how the car looks. He though I was talking about his MUM. I laughed, He laughed it was awkward and I left.
  7. Neutral switch not being bridged won't allow the car to crank off the key or rev above the neutral rev limit. Brad's on the money.

  10. Yes and Yes. Difference is Cooler see airflow whenever the car is moving and doesn't have coolant circulating through it to maintain the temp.
  11. F6 is back on the road. Have done aprox 150km and initial thoughts on the air/oil cooler aren't great. I need to give the trans a little time to settle down but most notable is a clunk as it upshits when coming off a hard throttle input. Next week I'll get some decent logs to determine what sort of temp the trans is operating at and if it needs any adjustments in the tune for a (potentially) lower temp. My main concern is I don't believe there is any ambient air temp compensation in the trans calibration. So if it shifts nice with operating temps in the mid 50/60's in the 30deg ambient what's it going to be like when the ambient temps are single figures and trans temps are in the 40's?
  12. Drove the F6 for a first time in a long time. Forgot how quick it is.

  14. Essentially it relinks the key/bem and PCM. Try leaving the key on for an hour or so, until "Code" is no longer displayed on the Screen then try it.
  15. leave the key on for an hour or so. But if you have swapped the ign and bem you may need a pats relearn.

  17. You may have triggered the security system by hot wiring the starter? Is the Smart Lock Hand flashing on the dash?
  18. They can be modded but they aren't straight bolt up. I think I actually have a set sitting in the shed.
