  1. lead shot down the hole was the go back in the day
  2. Ralph'geneered a solution to the rims I want not clearing the rear brembo 4 pots. Pics of actual successful fitment to follow.
  3. I was I was in my Rangie not the F6, next time I'll honk and give you the Finger.
  4. Yes. Does Sir prefer a 12" 240v or 8" rechargeable (insert dildo joke here)
  5. Not sure but I saw you in Guildford the other morning
  6. P2110 is telling you the PCM felt the need to limit rpm. This can be due to a range faults from (as mentioned above) dodgy TPS/dodgy PPS or even an Air Leak between the upper and lower manifolds. Anything that could cause the rpm to rise above the level the commanded by the pcm or lead the pcm to believe the TPS isn't in sync with the PPS.
  7. Not if the oil oil usage you describe is accurate.
  8. Don't bother testing it. If you're putting 60 to 70% of the total oil capacity in between services and it's not making it to the ground rings are shot.
  9. Sounds like oil passing the rings. A leak down test will help pinpoint. A constricted/blocked turbo drain will cause similar symptoms, but I doubt it's the turbo as they generally smoke more under boost if they seals are leaky (btw seals rarely fail, it's generally another fault such as blocked return or worn bearings that cause seals to leak) You can also remove the oil filler cap and place your hand over it, get some body to give the engine a rev. If you feel pressure under your hand as the revs blip it's likely crankcase overpressure causing the smoke. Which is generally rings or can be a blocked crankcase ventilation system. If you get an indication that pressure is building in the crankcase get the ventilation system checked and a leak down done.
  10. I've had it since I was toddler mate. Comes and goes. Any period of physical fatigue or high stress levels and it comes back. CV and Bepanthon sorts it our quick mart. I had one doc prescribe hydrozole. Works great in the short term but doesn't address the main issue.
  11. I had my old xr6 corner weighted. Made a big difference to stability under power and under brakes. Made the car more predictable. The guy that did it (wheels world in Osborne park) even commented that he was impressed with how it handled after the work and his bread and butter is exotics.
  12. ^what especially regarding steroid creams. They reduce inflammation but thin the skin making it easier for it to reoccur. Nappy rash cream (bepanthon etc) and if you aren't already use qv (or any soap free) wash. Qv make a really good flare up wash. Also if it's where sock sits change to full cotton socks (no synthetic blends)
  13. I told you there would be consequences if you kept putting tomato in my sammich's
  14. I loved the "oh shit" moment when the bloke in the lead realised the other guy was chasing him down
  15. Boge's how good was the foot race between the two broken bikes?
  16. If you don't already bring your own linen to site and wash it yourself in decent laundry detergent. Avoid the driers if you can.
