  1. Prussian Blue is too difficult to see on lapped gears unfortunately. That's gen Dana marking compund
  2. CSYJB/WDYDTYCT Cross Over. Have been collecting some bits in prep for racewars next year. These bits came from the Inaugural Race Wars Winner so have gone 270kmh at RW and 9.6 over the Quarter so more than strong enough for me. "700hp" Axles And since they seem to be the flavour of the Day, A Tructrac inside a Stock Ratio Diff. Plus its a 913A589 model...sweet But in Typical Ralph style of not leaving well enough alone, a spreadsheet was developed looking at the various gearbox and rear ends rations and overall final drive ratios and theoretical tops speed in each gear. This lead to the purchase of a new set of rear gear. I'm not going to disclose what ratio yet as it's a departure from the norm and the way I plan to set my gearbox tuning up will make it quite different. (plus I want to make sure it actually works before shooting my mouth off) But if anyone wants to have crack at trying to count teeth go for it So Im now at the put it together pull it apart phase of diff assembly to finese the contact patch Drive- Coast- Looks pretty good but I wouldn't mind shifting it closer to the root and perhaps a little closer to the heel. Undecided if I'll change it yet. Best part about a just like this is the chance to make some toooooools (all tools are patented under the NothinSuss Tool Corporation) Carrier Housing Adjustment "Socket" Pinion Flange locking tool I've also now got a full set of setup bearings so future diff build will be most easy. Im in a holding pattern now waiting for a solid pinion spacer and shim set (collapsible spacers are the devils tool) to arrive from good ol' Jegs in the U S OF A and once that arrives I'll move onto final assembly, but for now it's clean, clean and clean again. Will chuck up some sort of how to when I final assemble the diff if anyone is interested, may even clean up my fab bench before then as well.
  3. when I say slip I mean any speed difference between the flywheel and clutch.
  4. Welcome to the world of cerametallic clutches. They don't like to slip and are quite noisy when doing so. They will also weld themselves to the flywheel if they are slipped excessively. The technique I used to apply was a rev blip and basically pop the clutch and you're off. A twin organic/coppermix is a better deal for a street car.
  5. Your car has an M78 diff. M86 will bolt in, but driveshaft and axles will need to be changed. You better off buy a complete rear cradle from a turbo/V8 and driveshaft to suit.

    My Build

So your focus has shifted back to work? Are you shifts sequential or do you get a day off to spend in the dog box?

    My Build

They probably have a very manual shipping process with the wrong ratio of guys who package the parts vs the guy who shifts them. I guess what I'm saying is they are short on shifters?

    My Build

I've been trying to come up with some puns related to the situation, but im afraid I've come up short. 10 days to ship does sound a bit shifty. Sounds like the seller needs to gear up there dispatch department to avoid missed ships?
  9. what exactly are you using the radiator for?
  10. You can actually bridge 3&5. 3&5 should be larger than the other two
  11. Remove the starter relay in the eng bay fuse box and bridge the relay terminal in the fuse box straight to the battery positive.
  12. Speaking of burning, Is the pope Jewish or not?
  13. Nah, they have cats, no Kangaroos, but def cats.
  14. Ahem Happy to split the case with J@turbo
  15. Ah the old Perth city effluent discharge area..
  16. Ford IDS/BOSCH Lt and Motorcraft service suite can change VIN assigned to the PCM. Where are you located?
  17. I have not, I went off them a little when the Dr got all leftie. But to be fair they where pretty good when the supported NOFX last time.
