Looking at upgrading the sound in my BA ute. was wondering what the best option is? I'm not looking for something really loud. don't want to add a extra head unit either. so was thinking either line level converter for amp and sub. or just upgrading speakers? and where abouts do you tap into for the line level converter?

I have a ba xr6t with plazmaman stage 1 I/c kit, 2nd cai and high flow cat, waiting to take it to the tuner for injectors, actuator and tune. will I need to port the wastegate? generally when does this mod need to be applied?

installing an electric boost gauge and was wondering if makes a difference if I install the sender in the engine bay or in the dash? do I need to keep the vac hose as short as possible or anything?

just got an electric boost gauge and just wanted to confirm places to wire because there so many different suggestions on the site. instructions say red - constant 12v - ignition switch or plug from icc black - negative - dash support white - acc - ? orange - parking lamp - ? planning on fitting it near tissue box holder or in front of dash cluster. can I get acc and parking lamp from foglight switch?

not to sure but I just installed a plazmaman intercooler that's 450x350x90 and similar mods and been told should make around 300 easily. a 2nd cai and high flow cat as well will help you out

just finished installing my plazmaman stage 1 kit to realise at the end the stock air box scoop doesn't fit anymore. ive fitted the 2nd CAI but just wondering if anyone has figured out a way to keep the stock scoop as well. cheers

so picked up a heat shield from ftg auto salvage today. I'm missing 2 of the lower bolts for the heat shield though. would anyone know what size they are?

cheers for that, helps a lot as I was looking at doing my second intake soon. do think there would be a bigger difference if you just cut a bigger hole out of the air box instead of 2nd snorkel? seen that done before some where on the forum

I'm sure you've probably heard it before, I've searched and read the pinned second hand edit page but I wasn't to sure if that info there was relevant as it is an old topic and just wanted to double check. I was just wondering if a second hand xcal 3 is unmarried can I use it straight away on my car without any dramas? aslong as it has unlocks left on it, or does it still have to be reset to then use on my car? and is there a way of checking if its unmarried without plugging into the car? can u plug into laptop with usb? thanks.

Just trying to locate where I can buy a heat shield that covers the exhaust manifold and back of the turbo as mine doesn't have one like in the pic below. Sorry if its the wrong thread didn't know which one. Cheers

yea I got the 6 speed. thought about the f6 cooler but havnt decided yet. I got the info now I have to choose. and tuner said he will supply xcal and tune for $1600. sound about right? thanks for the help

Thanks for that. Will the plazamaman spec1 do the job? do you recommend something else? and thought about doing the pipe work myself to save some money with 3" stainless
