Hey guys, serious post. my cars been ******* up lately, its a 2008 g6et. as soon as the car is put under load (usually when boost starts to kick in) it starts to lose power and misfire. I changed the coils today, no such luck... anyone have any ideas or usefull advice on what it is/ what I should do?

so your input shaft is still intact after such a hard launch? very nice. mine should be ok with 322rwkw

Hey guys, I have a g6e turbo with 320rwkw. I took it to the drags and got a best time of 12.2 launching @ 1,500RPM. I was afraid to go any higher incase I twist my tailshaft. im going to get mine upgraded, but I was wondering if theres anything that would be likely to give up if I launch under boost?

When I take off hard in my g6et and change gear at high rpm or let off the throttle at high rpm I get a backfire noise or maybe missfires? anyone have an idea of what it could be?

Thanks for the reply Clutz, im almost certain that's the same as mine. is there any other maps I can load and put in the sd slot? seen some on ebay for 15 dollars. the satnav program actually lets you select which maps you can load im pretty sure.

Hi guys ive recently purchased a g6et, and it came with sat nav. its controlled through a remote and I dont know if it came stock with the car. I purchased it privately and im the 3rd owner. Also if it is or isnt, the maps are somewhat outdated and if someone knows how to update it I would really appreciate it. Thanks alot!

I had the same problem but mine wasnt from a tune, my battery was almost dead. I changed the battery and cleaned the throttle body and that fixed it for me dont know if this applies to you but thought id give you my input. my symptoms were the exact same as you described.

If I decide to replace the piping, not the cooler just the piping, do I need a tune?

I've heard the fg turbos have weak intercooler piping and need to be replaced due to the stock piping bursting. I was wondering at what power range will I need to change the piping?
