I have only had this happen only twice in the last year. It stalls then revs like crazy. Then turn it off and its as good as gold once started again. I wont worry until it becomes more of a problem! After 175k things cant always be perfect.. Thanks for your info.

Good evening. Hope this is the right place to put this post.. I have an XR6 Turbo BA 2 On a couple of occasions it has stalled. Once re started the revs hold at between 2000 to 3000 rpm at idle or even when on the M2 I didn't have to use accelerator! it just pulled along at those revs! Problem was it kept those revs at traffic lights or in slow traffic.. Once turned off and re started problem went away. This has happened twice one 6 months ago and once yesterday. I disconnected battery any way to reset ecu.. not sure if that does anything Anyway thanks for reading
