  1. Only the FPV owners club that I know of. Accepts all Turbo owners.
  2. Funnily enough I had these symptoms and used a bottle of injector cleaner, near stall/low revs and hunting gone. Maybe I should prepare myself for an oxy sensor next.
  3. Bolt is there, so I'm hoping it's broken, not the mount?
  4. @k31th just reading something you wrote in another topic regarding bushes and broken bolts.. The entire diff bush in mine was out and resting against the spare wheel well, hence the clunk. The mechanic was able to push it back in with his fingers. Is that more likely to be a broken bolt? I've just ordered a complete set of SuperPro bushes for it after the last ones lasted about 56k.
  5. Cracks through the mount and arms? Described as a 3” thick piece of steel, with possible cracks in the arms to the other bushes? Looking at it Monday morning.
  6. Welcome to NZ. A truTrack looks like $1280, but I'm assuming this is plus whatever to actually make it work as they talk about building your drive head as a service? Otherwise: https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/ford/diffs-axles/listing-2329635147.htm?rsqid=a861ae3ab9de46e781bee11100d4a970-005 And I was thinking of trading it after 6 years.
  7. Any happier suggestions that see me parting with less than $1400 for a second hand diff?
  8. Not sure if this is the right place as I think my noise is different, but here goes. FG G6. Driving down motorway today, smooth road at about 100k, big metallic clunk from what sounded like left rear. Then about 1km later, again, then nothing. Got into city and it started banging and clunking, always metallic. Got out and checked, it's now at the mechanics. Replicated it for him, put into gear, nothing, drove forwards, stopped, put into reverse, big clunk, back into drive, little clunk, reverse, big clunk etc. Ideas? Sounds back leftish.
  9. Lock nuts are in the bin, 22mm was the answer and trying a 5/8 instead of a 7/8 definitely does not work.
  10. Yep, did it today, then used anti seize grease and a torque wrench, sorted.
  11. Standard G6Turbo 19s.
  12. Ok, so I had a tyre blow out(!) and changed over to the spare. Got new tyres for the rear, the tyre fitter comes in after 30sec with his rattle gun and announces my lock nut key (factory pos) is stripped. Gee, I wonder how that happened after I’d just used it successfully. Anyway, I’ve searched and read on here, there are 3 sockets recommended, a 7/8”, 18mm, 22mm. Ive tried a 7/8” with no joy, although may not have hit it hard enough, but want a guide as to what’s best as I’ll have to go and buy another. Cheers.
  13. It was the 20amp fuse #15, used a wine opener as a fuse puller, all good.
  14. No fuse puller, 1st thing I checked! Will go to Ripco tomorrow. Thanks for all the help.
  15. That’ll be it, had a Valentine and a high power rechargeable torch going. Couldn’t work out which fuse, seems to be a few with acc on?
