Anybody know if you can remove the sump off the engine in an XR6T without lifting the engine. Sounds like my next door neighbour has a little man with a hammer in his engine lol.

I think the PBR brake system is awesome, but the brake squeal is a massive pain after a while. Especially, when you've got the windows down. IMOA

It definately sounds like a coil Dean. The only other thing I could possible think of, is maybe the fuel pump isnt providing enough fuel pressure, but that'd be a long shot. My money is on a spark issue. Cheers Trev

Normally it would be say 20000km and so many months. no sorry but I just picked my car up on saturday I went from a 2500 stall to a 2800 stall what has happen to your stall conv. I washed the car, drove it around the block. I went to pull into the driveway, slowly, cause of the gutter, and I heard a rattle like id broken the catayletic converter. I removed the cat, but it wasnt broken, so I refitted it. I wacked the car up on stands and started the engine and found the noise coming from the gearbox bellhousing. There is a plastic plate on the front of the box, so I took it off, and that amplified the noise. So of course I new it was either the converter or the front g/box bearing. My wife an I hopped in the car this morning, attempting to find a mechanical shop with a hoist to confirm my theory. We only got down the road, and all of a sudden I lost drive totally. So I had to walk home and flat tow it back. The auto was changing smoothly and effortlessly before it failed. Now ive just got, like I said, no drive, and a huge metallic rattle.

Ok, Just returned. NOT HAPPY. They measure from the centre of the wheel to the wheel arch (Guard) Meant to be 496mm on the front and 502mm on the rear. I actually made a mistake, front is 349 and rear is 352 for people who want to know

Will do guys, at this point in time, the only idea up in the air at the moment, is a hump for the bonnet. And maybe some 8 badges instead of the six. Just to keep some people guessing.
