Im up creek if nobody does RAP1D. I have removed and stripped the ICC from my company car (BA XT) but the single disc player is definately different to the stacker unfortunately. So im back in the same position, with a cd player sitting on my kitchen table...

Hey guys I have taken it upon myself to remove the swallowed cd's from my indash cd stacker. The cd removal was extremely easy, however, whilst I had the top lid of the player. A pair of springs has dislodged from their position which holds a metal strip in place at the very top. Can someone tell me where the springs are meant to be attached down below in the player itself. I have attached pictures of the metal strip and the spring locating hooks on it. You'll notice the hook on the right hand side, marked with an arrow. I need to know where the other end of the springs are meant to go...

Has anybody got the cover off their cd player at the moment. I need to locate where a pair of springs go. Cant find the little hooks for the life of me...

I know im bias, but I think this is just right.

Dropping the clutch at 5500rpm is obviously not a great idea to start with. I think we should all be so lucky that Ford have made a weak point outside the diff area. Otherwise we'd all be breaking diffs, clutch's and gearbox's whenever someone has a lapse in judgement.

I had the same trouble a little while back. Ford said they arent covering, under warranty, the swallowed cd's if they are burnt cd's. Apparently, the blank cd's are a different thickness to a bought cd, hence the problem. So he showed me how to remove them without getting ford involved.

Fatal Motorcycle Crash – M4 Motorway 18 December 2006 Police are investigating a motorcycle crash which has left a man dead in Sydney’s west yesterday. Shortly after 2.30pm, a 49-year-old man was riding his motorbike east along the M4 motorway, near Lapstone Hill. As he approached the Emu Plains off-ramp, his motorbike clipped another motorcycle which was also travelling east. The 49-year-old man’s motorbike left the roadway and became airborne before coming to rest some distance away. The Glenbrook man died at the scene. The male rider of the second motorbike was taken to Nepean Hospital with suspected fractures where he remains in a stable condition. Both motorbikes have been seized for mechanical examination. Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact Penrith Police Station on 4721 9444 or the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit on 8835 7300.

I travelled interstate this morning to visit a customer. He said he'd lost his license for 3 months for an infringement back in May. I asked what speed he was doing and said he wasnt speeding, he got done for having a radar detector. Apparently he was approaching the back of a police car which was stationary at a set of traffic lights even though they were green. He went passed the police car and it took off after him. They serveyed his car for a little while, and my customer was thinking, whats he gonna get me for. He didnt actually realise that he had his detector on at this point. It was in the centre console. Then the penny dropped. As soon as he turned the detector off, the highway car got him. Apparently the coppa came to the window and firstly advised him he was being recorded, and said we have detected your law evaiding device which carries an $1175.00 fine and 9 demerits. He asked for the device to be produced and if he didnt, it would be another $1175.00 fine, plus the car would be placed on a tow truck and impounded until the device was found at $7.00 a day. After the coppa had calmed down, he said there were 4 brand new RDD's purchased by the police and they arrived in April of this year. One is up near Dubbo and another is on the Pacific Hwy around the Ballina area.

Hey guys Im having heaps of trouble locating a set of injector seals for my T. Ford dont do them. Autopro cant source them so im a little bit stuck. Can anyone assist please?

Can anybody tell me how to get a cd out of the dash board when its been swallowed by the cd player? It doesnt even register a cd is in that slot. Cause I fed another one into the same position and it plays no problem. The disc has just vanished out the back.
