Then this happened... A young bloke attempted a rolling burnout but the throttle stuck open. With the front wheels locked, the car just pushed itself into a concrete barrier at 50kp/h+. Luckily for one of the security guards, he saw the car coming and within a split second he got of the barrier before the impact... Lets just say, security handled the situation in their own way...

How Do I Drain My Fuel Tank?

Speaking from experience, using the cars fuel pump with the fuel line off doesnt work... Cars in the past would just pump petrol as soon as you flick the ignition switch to reds, but these falcons wont pump fuel until it detects ignition spark... So the only way to get it to pump is by holding the key in the start position... So basically, the battery will be flat by the time you get 1 litre out of it... Cheers Trent -
You didnt by any chance blow an intake hose off recently Ninka did you? Snapped shafts can also be a result of a turbo over rev. I have a lot of customers experience the same thing generally within about 2 weeks after blowing a hose off...

I've had a petrol smell outside the car ever since I put the surge tank on... Ive been looking for weeks, but there is definitely no leaks... Anyone else struck this?

I got a brand spankin new BF XT 4 weeks ago. And even after making a concious effort not to reef the hand brake up when I use it, after 6,000km's its almost to the end of its travel... They are just a crappy design.

I did the John Bowe driving school in conjunction with FPR (Jason Bright) last year at Eastern Creek and im going again on the Thursday after Bathurst this year. I cant bloody wait... Perks of working for Caterpillar...

To combat that issue I had a high tensile washer made up to suit the flexplate stud pattern... No more dramas for me anyway...
