Hey gang anyone else had this problem. My turbo territory drives very well all things considered but on Sunday morning it began a trend of not allowing me to use it manually. Roughly one second after I select a gear manually it overrides me and goes back into sports mode. Does this indicate a needed oil change or ?!?!

yesterday I witnessed a XR6T engine on a dyno and it was incredible. There r some clips of it on the HRE Motorsports youtube and FB pages WOW

its now with a diagnostic guy who is trying to find how the ZF is getting power even with the keys not in the ignition ..... the plot thickens

its all very confusing

Deff P6761 Auto electrician today informed me that theres a buzzing coming from the ZF which is why the battery went flat overnight. Going to take it to "M1 automatics" soon for him to run some tests glycol test etc he also reckons he can eliminate or identify the gearbox as being the culprit against external wiring etc etc Depressed much

My '06 turbo territory has had a wee few dramas lately after it got a bit wet Seeminlgy last issue is the ZF being permanently in "limp home" mode It has the fault code P6761 identified simply as "transmission control" when Fords scan tool was hooked up to it yesterday Can anyone shed any light on P6761 ? thanks

There one at redland bay herein Brisbane that has run a 9.1 second at willowbank with Russell Ingall at the wheel, I've only seen it once the sound as it spun all four so ferociously was mind blowing. The guy boxed up the ZF and sent it back to their factory when it what itself I bet that wasn't cheap

have now done 53,000k's in my beast with 99.9 towing 2,200kg or more gulp and can say that its the most awesome towing vehicle ive been in due to its staggering torque, tomorrow will be front diff bush replacement day and other than that its been plain sailing ooo apart from doing a front pump seal about 12 months ago at which time Bob Grant automatics said the ZF is in awesome condition dont change what you are doing (I was unlucky to do the seal as apparently ZF's dont do that) Tow away men soon mine is going on the Chiptorque dyno for a custom tune where its fuel range is apparently going to be extended considerably FINGERS CROSSED

Hey Trev yes mate it is an '06 but didnt sell till may 07 so some warranty left, its and awesome machine so much fun to drive without my roadtrain trailer on the back but with it coupled I am pissing off plenty of motorists who cant get around my haha.
