  1. Well I'm wanting to push up to 300rwkw... I've been told stage 2 p/w for it... But I found a plazzy rated to 700hp from a wholesaler on Facebook.
  2. Oh sweet, because I was originally going to go process west, but noticed plazmaman is slightly cheaper
  3. Hey guys, Noob question, but intercooler wise, what are plazmaman's like? Are they reliable? Etc Cheers Ethan
  4. Sorry guys, I didn't have one at the time... Here we go, 2011 FG XR6T Ute, lowered 2" resets in the rear and dropped 1.5" at the front, also a aftermarket intercooler.. Unsure of the brand at the moment, looks like an eBay one... All mods done by previous owner.
  5. As the title suggests guys, upload a picture of your ute! Look forward to seeing them
  6. Yeah I was think that also Pazzo Maybe these? http://bit.ly/U7c9xh Does anyone know if the offset would be okay?
  7. What do you think would look better on a sunburst orange xr6T? White or black?
  8. Hey guys, I'm sure you all know of the Rota rims that you can buy off eBay for a grand. Does anybody have them? Are they any good? Reason I ask is because I've heard they are weak and snap. Cheers, Ethan
  9. But the clay bar is to just take crap off the paint?
  10. So, upon reading everyone's great feedback.. All I need to do is scrub the car (wash it), anything I can't get off use a clay bar, then apply one of the many polishes listed above?
  11. Cheers for that boost69 And thank you everyone else! Muchly appreciated
  12. Hey guys, As the title suggests, I'm trying to find the best polish to use on my FG Turbo Ute... I'm pretty much a noob to this sort of thing, and like to give anything a go... I have very minor scratches also (from the previous owner that I'd like to fix up)... Can someone point me in the right direction please Cheers Ethan
  13. To be 100% sure, I'm not entirely sure, I have been sitting under 3000rpm wherever I drive for a while now, because it doesn't seem to happen under 3000... Seems to be when I hit 4000rpm, it spikes... Ford won't say why or how much boost is going through... Would it be the fact I may need a new actuator? Pardon if that's a stupid question, I'm a baby to the modding world.
  14. G'day guys, I have been told by ford that my car is spiking in boost.. Does anyone know what could cause this? Every time it spikes, it blows a cooler pipe off. I bought it from a dealer with a s**tty eBay inter cooler, and I suspect it hasn't had a tune... Ford has taken it off my hands and 'reset' the computer, but it still spikes. I'm wanting to start working towards 300rwkw, but I don't want it spiking when I'm pushing 300.... Any ideas would be fantastic! Cheers guys, Ethan
  15. Oh yeah, I would. But I just wanted to know, parts wise etc
  16. Awesome power dude. Just a question that was asked before by someone else, how much did your mods set you back? I'm wanting to crack 300rwkw with my FG ute.
  17. Took it to ford and they said take no notice of it. I'm having a problem with boost spiking at the moment... So that doesn't help things at all... Need to have it re-tuned as I bought it from a car yard with a f6 intercooler on it, and it obviously hasn't been tuned -.-
  18. Hey guys, I've been getting 800kms to a tank from my fg mk1 ute... But in the last week, the average Km's remaining that show on the digital reading, have been dropping astronomically, and half the time I'm doing 1.75k revs at 60km/h... Could this be an injector issue? Cheers
  19. I must admit, I didnt like the ss inductions, but after seeing the photos, they look really good.
  20. That looks pretty sweet being down low like that... Cheers for posting the photo Bellato
  21. Cheers mate. I was thinking that, but I'm wanting something different, like to have them hidden away.. Like down lower than the dash if you know what I mean...
  22. G'day guys, Im relatively new to this forum to which I have also just purchased a FG Mk1 XR6T Ute. I'm wanting to learn how to mod my car and do different things, and work out what aftermarket parts my ute has (which I will ask in the appropriate sections). What I wanted to ask was, has anyone come up with some creative locations in putting different gauges within a ute or sedan (preferably a FG). If anyone has any pics and would like to post them in this thread, that would be greatly appreciated. The only reason I am wanting to put gauges in is the fact the last person who owned the ute has done some mods, and the mods are having an effect with the boost allowing it to spike quiet often. Cheers, Ethan
  23. I wash mine once a week hahah.. Anymore and I'll take the paint off
  24. Oh cheers mate. I might jump on the missus's facebook and sus it out. Thanks again
