Quick question, how long does it take you to rack up 8000 kms? If you are only doing around town driving, with little country trips, I'm thinking around 4 months. If that's the case, then I am totally amazed that Ford are covering it under warranty. Dont get me wrong - it's all good for you. I am just totally amazed.

Correct me if I am wrong (& I am sure someone will...) but don't the Standards state that you HAVE to have a reversing light?? If FMC are "discontinuing" the original bar, and the supplied replacement is not up to spec, then you could be facing a defect sticker from a bored copper... Just a thought....

If you can drive a manual, then you can do this yourself. Not a real hard job. The tips on moving the 2nd CAI out the way while you put the bolt back in are better for my money rather than chucking it. I thought about not putting it back in, but then the whole airbox is only being held by the 2 bolts at the back. Too much movement for my liking. Give it a go Nick. Do what I did & make a template out of cardboard first. Easier to play with & doesnt matter if you stuff it. Once you have that right, then just trace it onto your airbox.
