Hi, I am just wondering whether there is any trusted tuning mobs in Brisbane?? Just looking at upping the boost and remapping the ECU.If that is possible. So far I have done the K & N Air filter, and a SS Induction - Big Mouth Cold Air Intake. Just wondering approx. how much it would be and where abouts it would be in Brisbane and also Time available to do and edit. Thanks any help would be appreciated Cheers, Kezz

Hi, I have heard stories about this problem. And Yes the Dunlop SP Sport 3000 does have a problem with the inside side wall cracking in some cases (but only on the inside wall). The only real way of telling wether you got a problem is by getting under the car and have a look. If they are starting or show signs of starting take them back! A bloke up here (Rockhampton) has had the same issue with same tyres, and the story was that if the tyre has still got a road worthy amount of tread on them, they have to replace them. Hi, I know this is probably not the problem. But it sounds similar to what my mates Xr8 ute had. What you describe sounds similar, but could be something totally different. But here is goes anyway. It only seemed to be just a blokage in the throttle body, a build up of crap on either side of the butterfly. All his mechanic did was just pull it off and gave it a clean. This problem does sound a bit wierd but, hopefully remote and can be a one off fix!! Good luck! Kezz

I am only a newby to this site but thanks for the reply. I will look into it more now. Which brand of hotdogs, would you suggest to ge the beefiest sound out of my XR? Any suggestions? The only mods I have done so far is the SS inductions Cold Air Intake, and a K & N high flow air filter. But am hopefully in the near future going to do more! Thanks! Kezza.

Hey, Having owned a MrkII Xr6 Turbo now for several months, just wondering if you were able to upload the F6 Typhoon programing onto the XR6T. Just to give it more boost, and to give it better boost timing. Would you have to change the injectors at all, seeing as the standard injectors are aparently running at their limits? Or would it be cheaper just to go for a full ECU ungrade? Cheers, Kezza!
