Check your Battery. Mine did the same when I had the hi beams on for a while and I slowed down. Had the battery checked and was told it was almost dead. Also clean your throttle body if its not the battery. Sorry can't be more help.

Hi Panda welcome to the site. Not sure how much paint you are after but I had the same issue finding Mercury Silver paint on the shelf of my local Auto shop. I went down to my local Ford dealer and got it from there. All I needed was a small bottle. Nail polish size. From memory 8 - 10 dollars. Not cheap for the amount of paint you get.

Does the throttle body have any gaskets that will need replacing??

Just wondering do you have to take off the throttle body to clean it?? Or can you just spray the cleaning stuff inside it. Will it damage anything if I spray it where it is? Coz the idle on mine sux as well and every few days when sitting at lights it just stalls. Usually in the morning after it has warmed up.

I removed mine recently due to rattle. Its in two pieces with bolts and a couple off straps. Cut the straps undo the bolts and the bottom part drops. Top part is a pain but keep pulling on it and it will come off. If someone can help you it would be easier. I had to get someone to push the exhaust over to get it out. Good luck
